Someone on SD reported that a California Staples store did not accept cartridge recycling because of the coronavirus issue.
I just recycled 20 cartridges on 3/20, no issues.
Another data point from SD:
“They’re doing this in ALL staples stores as of this last monday 3/23. If they’re not then they’re not following the corporate memo. Basically until further notice they won’t accept Staples Ink Recycling so don’t waste your time going unless maybe you call ahead of time to see if they didn’t get the memo or something.”
Oh man…I JUST ordered and received a new shipment of 300 empty ink carts from eBay. I hope this isn’t permanent!
I just checked my reward status for no particular reason. I saw this notice (banner) at the top of the page:
“Given the current environment, we wanted to ensure members could continue to redeem rewards so we have extended redemption dates. If you earned a Reward in the month of February or March you have an extra month to redeem Rewards. All rewards are redeemable in-store and online”

Maybe a good deal for reselling on eBay. They’re going for about $10 shipped.
Homemade Hand Sanitizer Ingredients
2/3 cup 99% rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
8 -10 drops essential oil, optional (such as lavender, vanilla, peppermint, grapefruit)
bowl and spoon
funnel
recycled liquid soap or hand sanitizer bottle
Make Hand Sanitizer
Nothing could be easier! Simply mix the ingredients together and then use the funnel to pour them into the bottle. Screw the pump back onto the bottle and you’re ready to go.
How It Works
The active ingredient in this hand sanitizer recipe is the alcohol, which needs to comprise at least 60% of the product in order to be an effective disinfectant.
Essential Oils in Hand Sanitizer
In addition to adding fragrance to your hand sanitizer, the essential oil you choose may also help protect you against germs. For example, thyme and clove oil have antimicrobial properties. If you are using antimicrobial oils, only use a drop or two, since these oils tend to be very powerful and might irritate your skin. Other oils, such as lavender or chamomile, may help soothe your skin.
Combine with coupon 66818 ($10 back in rewards on select case paper, limit 3) to sweeten the deal.
ROCKAUTO.COM sells these at good prices ($7.70 for my Nissan). 5% off codes available here.
Fine print says “limit 2”.
Thanks OP.
Does this stack with rewards?
Similar deal on similar cam. $10.90 after Promo Code A4DRHERY
No reviews yet. I’m guessing that this one is also a POS.
48 oz before S&S, not the Organic version, is now $10.30.
And back to $5.54 before S&S.
Now $7.49 before S&S.
Still a good price for a 24 oz. bottle.
Mine arrived today, also in a bubble wrap envelope. The box inside has a few dents but seems ok. The unit is much smaller than I expected.
Now I have to decide if it’s worth risking my 100% positive eBay reputation by selling this thing.
Alternatively, I could donate it and take the value off my taxes.
Or I guess I could actually use it in my car!

Chase Freedom has 5% in these categories for the next quarter:
Internet, Cable, Phone Service, Select Streaming Services
I’m going to switch out my regular US Bank category.
I couldn’t find a separate thread for Chase.
Now there is one review - one star
“Bought this exact one for less than half the price here and it turned out to be JUNK.”
Thanks MisterCheap! This along with the $80 in ink rewards and $5 rewards on ink purchase (for ink recycling) brought a $111.54 order down to $1.54! You do have to get a few steps into the checkout process to see the $25 coupon applied.
