My (government) employer reimbursed up to $200 for glasses until a couple years ago. This was completely unrelated to any vision insurance, which was optional. I was sad to see this benefit cut.

Interesting. I’ve only used this card for the 3% back on groceries. Is the 3% back on gas new too? I thought gas and everything else were 1%.
I’m currently toward the end of a year upgraded to preferred for free, but if I recall, gas is 2% back for the Everyday card. Since they aren’t offering the 3% on retail for the preferred version, I definitely plan to downgrade again when my free year expires.

Agreed. BUT I just got the email, it had a claim button that supposedly triggered the $2 credit to be added to my account after I clicked. I tested, and it did appear at checkout as an Affirm credit, not combined with the $10 prime day promotional credit. Hope everyone else got it too.

I had to chat with Amazon support for a different reason, so I asked about the $2 credit. The agent looked into the terms and said it should appear in my account automatically during Prime Day(s) starting 7/12, and the email would have let us know that. So @MrVietnam this confirms that you were right, and we should see the credit soon even with the missing email.

Well, people have created threads here for less.
I got it today at almost exactly 5pm Pacific, but still no email 2 hours later. If I visit that page again, it says: “You have already obtained this reward, you will receive an email soon”.
That’s exactly what happened with me. It says it will send me an email but didn’t. I haven’t done anything because yes, $2 is probably not worth the effort. On the other hand, I thought it could be used before Prime Day, like the $10 for the 4 activities.
Anyway, thanks for confirming that your experience was the same as mine.

I realized the page says I’ll get an email but I didn’t get one. Did anyone who got the $2 credit get an email acknowledgment with instructions? I purchased items sold by Amazon today and it didn’t automatically appear like some promotional credits do.
It resets at 5pm PDT, 8pm EDT. I finally got the $2 credit last night. I think they run out pretty quickly, although I never remembered to try for it at the right time until yesterday.
