Amex used to offer this to all cardholders, but now only through Wells Fargo on the Amex propel card.

If you have discover card cash back bonus happy gift cards are on sale at 20% off. These are basically prepaid visa cards that are restricted to the merchants displayed on the card. They have lowes, Macy’s, chili’s, red lobster, cheesecake factory, GameStop, subway, bed bath & beyond, etc.

Amex offers also has 15% off $100 in happy cards at the happy cards website.

I think I jinxed it. My latest Vanilla purchase did not receive the grocery rewards bonus. I guess it was good while it lasted.

Regarding Norms, they do give you $10 off a $50 card usable between January and February 2022. However, it is in the form of (2) $5 scratch off mystery cards that have a minimum value of $5/each. One of my cards was worth $20 off and the other was worth $10. So this will be very profitable. Also remember to show your AAA card for 15%? off and apply a senior discount for 10%? off if applicable. Not 100% sure they stack, but why not try? ☺️

Don’t remind me about souplantation closing. I lost $700. I could have easily used it up in 1/2 year, but they closed too suddenly. I even filed a claim at bankruptcy court, and didn’t receive anything.

I found I am eligible for one of these offers for the first time , but I read that there is only $792k or something like that worth of discounts available. Does that mean this offer run out in days if not today? I sometimes make mistakes being rushed ordering things.

@c3 I’m getting 1 Vons reward dollar for each $100 spent. Vons has offered this for regular gift cards for years.

Thanks for the advice. I hope nothing changes to the reward points, but i am still ahead even without the points. So far the vanilla cards have been working on all the payment sites I’ve tried them on. I did have problems with an income or property tax payment site several years ago with a certain type of visa gift card (I don’t remember which). The new format won’t even allow zip code registration, so maybe this reduces the processing rejection rate. I do a balance check with each card immediately after purchase, and so far so good after purchasing a lot of these.

Blackhawk used to be the vendor or Visa and Mastercard gift cards and sales of these cards, which were never eligible for grocery rewards. Now, Fast Card sells Visa Vanilla gift cards and all are eligible for rewards @ 1% face value, so this practically pays for the service fee, which is very nice. I practically have more grocery rewards than I know what to do with ;). I am shopping more at Safeway/Vons as a result. The only problem is that the Vanilla cards cannot be registered online, but they still have the same fraud protection as Blackhawk cards practically speaking.
