Just a quick note to mention that this device is 2.4Ghz only. I had one and ended up giving it away because I only use 5Ghz on the network that I wanted to connect it to.

RE: Bank of America Premium Rewards Credit Card – 50,000 Point Bonus, $100 Annual Travel Credit
Okay, so both options you’re looking for are under Bill Pay.
To add external accounts, go to the Manage Pay To/Pay from accounts page. It’s pretty straightforward from there. Routing, account number, etc.
To auto pay your bill in full each month, Bill Pay Center. Then under that account, enable eBills if you haven’t already. You might be able to select your payment options during that. If not, go back to Bill Pay, Automatic/Recurring payments. Then choose edit and you should be able to set your auto payment for full each month like this.
Hope that helps.

RE: Bank of America Premium Rewards Credit Card – 50,000 Point Bonus, $100 Annual Travel Credit
The navigation on the BofA site isn’t great, but you can definitely use it to pay your bill from another bank account. I use Chase. You can also set up the automatic payments you mentioned. I’ll log in and take screenshots when I get a chance.

RE: Bank of America Premium Rewards Credit Card – 50,000 Point Bonus, $100 Annual Travel Credit
Just to add a couple of details, I qualified for the highest bonus level at ML before I opened this credit card. Also, unlike the cash rewards card, it doesn’t appear that any bonus percentage was added to the 50k point sign up bonus.

If you fumble through menus while you are driving you are a danger to everyone. Pull over to the side of the road!
Yeah, that was my point. The Sirius built-in to my car radio is my preferred music source and one of the reasons is that it’s less dangerous to operate.

Last time I checked SiriusXM had the worst sound quality compared to the competition.
It’s over-compressed for sure…but FM commercials suck. Bluetooth streaming is also compressed and doesn’t sound spectacular either. Aux cable can sound better than BT, but requires you to use your phone to control the music. Don’t get me wrong, I have Spotify Premium also, and love it. But that uses data, which isn’t free, and requires me to pick up my phone and fumble through menus while I’m driving if I want to change the style of music. With Sirius, I just push a preset on my dash without taking my eyes off the road.
Every cost has value to someone.

FYI - The provider is in Columbia.
Hopefully they have a fast and gentle way to ship them so they arrive in good condition and are long lasting.

The points you accumulate will get the bonus points from the platinum honors rewards as you redeem them, so wait until AFTER the 3 months to redeem any points accumulated…that way you will get the full benefit on the points you got before you qualified…
I have Platinum Honors with the BofA Cash Rewards Credit Card…so, that’s how i know…lol,
I waited until AFTER i qualified for Honors before cashing out points, at which point (when i did) i got the 75% boost automatically on them…Actually, for this card, the bonus points are awarded while they’re earned, not redeemed. Here’s my month 2 statement showing the standard Rewards, the Preferred Banking bonus, and the 50k sign up bonus.

RE: Do motel sites change their rates when you return to book?
Hospitality rates change with availability, not web history. They probably had a room or two booked in that day between when you searched and when you decided to book.

You were definitely talking with the Philippines. Last week I renewed All Access + streaming for 6 months for $50+ fees and Select was $60+ fees for 12 months.

RE: Credit Card limit your max amount if possible.
I don’t know how long ago that 20/20 episode was, but I can tell you from experience that it’s not that tough to deal with credit card fraud these days. I’ve been hit at least three times (BofA, Chevron, Chase) in the last decade and every case was nothing more than a phone call. My ML American Express was hit for almost $20k in one weekend and once their Fraud department got me on the phone, they canceled the card and quickly went over the charges to make sure they marked all the ones that were fraud. Then they fedex’d me a new card and a form that was already filled out saying that the following list of charges were fraud. All I had to do was sign it and send it back.
No big deal. So I don’t think there’s a good reason to cap your credit limit. The fraud departments are very good at identifying when there’s an issue and they are not going to make you work to prove it wasn’t you. Credit cards are someone else’s money until YOU spend it. Almost no risk.
Along those same lines, I don’t have a Visa debit card or anything that can spend my money without a PIN, and I only use my ATM card inside the bank.

I second the comment. Nice logo, and maybe even better with different colors.

Thanks for this. I must’ve bumped that thread 20 times over the years. My renewal is coming up next month, so I’ll be sure to bump this with my results.

RE: Best Safe Way To Pay Google Play
I’ve had my CC compromised several times in the last decade. Over $30k worth total. Doesn’t really bother me since that’s someone else’s money. Few minutes on the phone to cancel, reverse the charges, and get a replacement card sent. No big deal. Less annoying than a parking ticket.
Conversely, I haven’t had a Visa/MC debit card linked to a bank account in over a decade. I have an ATM card that requires a PIN and only gets used inside the bank.
You have two factor authentication to access your email account, right? Shouldn’t you have it on your bank account as well?
edit: Oh yeah, and I second the recommendation to buy a Google Play card with cash at CVS if you don’t want Google to have your payment info.
