Popular Direct reduced its rate on savings account to 1.85%. I applied when the rate was 2%, got confirmation & trial deposits, then tried to verify the account & got a message that they wouldn’t open an account for me. I had already moved some money around in preparation to transfer the funds to PD & now it’s just sitting in checking. WTF???
Anyone who got in under the 2% account is grandfathered in to the rate.

Nothing after acknowledgment of order for my order without the prepaid service card. Order acknowledged and shipped for the order I placed with the prepaid service card. Plan to not activate the sim or service card and sell service card at a loss and end up with the phone for around $15.

Selectel Wireless is currently offering the LG K8 V or the LG Vista for free with the purchase of 1 month of their $50 plan which runs on Verizon’s network and includes 10GB of high speed data and then unlimited slower data. I was able to place an order for the a phone without buying the $50 plan.
