From my experience, P&G rebates can take over a week for processing. For example, I submitted one on 6/21/24 and received the email confirmation on 7/3/24. So give it a little more time.

I know DD wasn’t the greatest program, but it was something. Oh well.

Just FYI…when you use a Happy card, you process it as a credit card – not a gift card. (I purchased the Happy Bites at Safeway and have used it at Burger King.) I assume that, when the balance gets low, the register will reject it if the balance is less than the transaction total so you’ll have to treat it like a VISA GC, i.e. first pay the difference with cash then the balance with the card.

I keep a running total of my card balance so I know how much $$ is left on it.

I have this offer on my Safeway account. Redeem 4 rewards for a free Plated Meal Kit. These kits sell for about $14.99 each. The offer is available until 6/30/19. Once you clip the reward, you have until 7/31/19 to use it.

I haven’t tried a Plated kit before, but I will now. Don’t know if this offer is available to all accounts, so YMMV.

The free AARP membership promo is offered again this year. I didn’t see it advertised, but two weeks ago I purchased $15 of Walgreens health & wellness products and received the voucher. (I actually made two $15+ purchases to get an extra voucher for my mother-in-law.)

I already received the $10 reward on a Costco purchase. Last Thursday I purchased 2 Nature’s Bounty “Probiotics 10”, which is in the Costco coupon book for $5 off. I saw this offer in yesterday’s newspaper, submitted the receipt, and already received the email with the link.

CVS has a deal on Listerine this week (5/31-6/6/20). Buy $10 of Listerine or Reach oral care and get a $5 EB. Limit 2 per household. So 3 bottles of Listerine (separate transactions) should be enough to qualify for the $10 EB, plus the $15 in rebates.

@mrvietnam FYI, the recalled hand sanitizers do not list methanol as an ingredient. They list ethyl alcohol as the ingredient, but instead contains methanol alcohol. So you have no way of knowing by looking at the label. (I think all the recalled hand sanitizers were made in Mexico so I would be wary of any hand sanitizer made in Mexico.)

Went to Safeway this AM to pick up a few items. I was surprised to see one package of the free jerky because Saturday Sampler items sell out quickly. After I came home I noticed that the ‘best buy’ date is 2/13/20. Oh well, it was free and jerky shouldn’t go bad.

Buy the product then call CS and they will apply the credit to your account. That’s what I do when clipped offers aren’t applied by the cash register. (I call the phone # listed at the bottom of my Safeway receipt and have been able to quickly speak to a CSR.)

I don’t like the ‘new’ Safeway app. I have a hard time finding deals/coupons – even the ones advertised in the weekly ad.

So I prefer to login to the Safeway website on my laptop. In SAFEWAY4U, under the ‘EVENTS’ category, there would be a checkbox for ‘SATURDAY SAMPLER’ if there is one.

@dionaea When I signed up for Netflix last summer, I couldn’t find any deals either. Since then I would occasionally find Netflix GC deals, which helps reduce the cost. For example, my grocery store (Lucky California) occasionally offers a deal where you get $10 in Lucky rewards for each $50 of Netflix GCs purchased (max $300).

I figure the 20% discount is better than nothing and Netflix isn’t going away so I’m not taking a risk stocking up on GCs.

I tried the sandwich today. Not bad. Would have been better if they grilled/toasted the bread. I paid $6.29 + tax. I got my free Wednesday Iced coffee at the same time.

Birthday reward changed too – no more free drink. Instead, you get 3X points on purchases for one day. That one day is within 2 days of your birthday. New program is a big disappointment.

Dunkin Donuts recently revised their rewards program. The new changes have taken place in CA and they say they will soon rollout to other states.
Under the old program, you earned a free beverage for every 200 pts. Now you apply pts to various items. (I prefer the old program – it was a better deal. But the new program has variety.) Screen shots of details:

I’m a Diamond member, but all I have are lousy rewards. I do not have the $15 Vudu credit. The best reward available to me is a B1G1 Fandango movie ticket. But I don’t go to the movies.
