I put it in for 3 minutes, and it was excellent! I ate from the Sistema bowl!

The meat, the beans, the macaroni, the rice, makes this a great meal, of course, I add a lot of hot sauce!

This mug is now my favorite cooking utensil in my vast array of microwave utensils. I have now been using this mug for just about every thing I heat and reheat in the microwave oven. Leftover vegetables, stews, soft boiled and scrambled eggs and just boiling water. This cup is also great for making instant oatmeal, hot chocolate and instant anything. I found that it’s better to take your cup of soup out of the styrofoam cup, put it in this cup, fill with water and microwave for 3 to 4 minutes and let it stand. I also use it for cold canned and jar fruit, cold cereals and snacks. It’s just a damn good mug. I have used it every day and there is no sign of wear and tear. I hand wash all my dishes so I can’t verify it being dishwasher safe. I keep reading reviews stating the mug was purchased for leak proof heating and as a travel convenient mug did leak at the vent but that was my mistake. Excellent Excellent!
I’ve been looking for a microwave mug for awhile locally for some time. I’m a widower who can cook well but on occasions a nice bowl of soup, the large 18 oz. size, hits the spot and is a pretty good meal to boot. I have been using a larger bowl with a plastic wrap to cover and heating it in a couple of intervals to heat through. Problems always arose when removing the wrap as the stuff gets like molten lava and transporting to the table or wherever the contents spilled. Then came along this Amazon suggested item. For the pride and from previous experience with this manufacturer I decided to take a chance and ordered the mug. Surprise! It was delivered the following day instead of the Prime two day delivery time. Removing the plastic and labels I washed and dried the item and set it out to dry. That night I decided to give it a try with a can of Chunky New England Clam Chowder. The mug took the entire can with a little space left over. Put the lid on, snapped the lid tight using the three locks and opened the steam vent. Set the microwave on high for three minutes on the turntable. At the end of those minutes I expected to have to remove the lid and as usual stir the soup and to heat another couple of minutes. I didn’t have to. I don’t know if it’s the design or what but the soup was heated through. Place the top back on and moved to the table along with a green salad and crackers. I consumed the salad first then removed the lid to find the soup still steaming. Great!

Cook microwaveable Rice and soup. Cook the rice first, Cook the soup next.
Put a napkin on the soup, the cover has holes, too not get a mess, when you cook it,
Put in the rice, and the full soup. I add hot sauce, even though it say "Spicy"
Use a large bowl, that’s bigger than a soup bowl.
Its easy, and there’s only one plate, to wash!
Makes a great meal! You can do the same with, Campbell microwaveable Chili Mac Soup!
(For people who never used a Campbells microwaveable soup before, it has a major knock on it, when you cook it in the microwave,
that lasts a second, and there are few of them. Don’t leave the microwave alone!

"These tongs were the ideal size. Small enough to fit in my hoodie pocket as I attended an elegant dinner party. My original idea was to bring them to prank people who appeared to be pretentious. Such as coming up behind them and grapping hold of a butt check or give their ear a nice yank. While I was there I was subjected to a wonkish guy wearing a sweater vest who insisted on describing a rather bothersome boil on his side. Exhausted by the conversation, I ask him show it to me in the kitchen. He was eager to display it, that was for sure. In the kitchen next to the wine rack, he revealed it, and it was big, the approximate size of a dodge ball, and ugly, like my 7th grade math teacher. It looked volatile, like it would explode at any moment. Now ordinarily I would have donned a splash guard just to take a look at it, safety protocols being what they are. But because I had the tongs, they provided me what I considered at the time to be a safe distance.Although it turned out not to be. In a very quick and committed move the tongs grabbed hold of the boil, because I had a steady grip, I squeezed in a very strategic manner, just like the owners guide so clearly stated. And it didn’t disappoint. The grotesque boil ruptured like a water balloon filled with gelatinous fluid, of the very thick variety, the kind people like me could previously only dream about. Turns out, I could have used a splash guard, it went everywhere, like a tidal wave from a waterpark ride. Some of it even hit the ceiling, the blender, the host, along with all the dinner guests who were in close proximity, drinking wine and having engaging conversations. But the shear magnitude, not to mention velocity, of the torrent of hot pus magma, put an immediate stop to any conversation and the drinking of wine. Most of the guests began crying, at least those that weren’t getting sick behind the refrigerator, beside the long-haired cat that was feverishly attempting to lick up as much as it could. I even used the tongs to pick someone’s extracted partial plate from the litter box in the corner. So yeah, what I’m saying is, this is a great product! Not just as a handy kitchen tool, but the making of fantastic memories as well. Thanks!"
