@marvomatic Like dangeRuss, my oldest Woot! shirts are fine but the prints on the ones I’ve bought in the past year are ridiculously short-lived. I literally sucked the entire design off of mine with my Dyson, it just came right off lol. There’s comments from other Wooters that go into the specifics of the change, but short story is they supposedly ain’t made like they used to be.

That’s the most I’d pay for a shirt from Woot! anymore. The last half dozen I’ve purchased always have peeling prints after just a wash or two. After a month or two if I’m lucky, I can vacuum the shredded remains of the print away and have a blank shirt left, lol. I don’t know the particulars of printing graphic tees, but whatever they did to cut costs obliterated the quality of their shirts, unfortunately.

Ooo, this is the same one I’ve had a few years and it’s been awesome. Bought a newer Lasko design last year and it was utter garbage. Never turned itself off and never got as hot, and the lingering burned oil smell never seemed to go away. I returned it. Good time to get this one again, maybe…

@marvomatic I’ve had pretty good luck with Sylvania bulbs, but they NEVER last anywhere near the 5-10 years they’re often advertised at, and we’re pretty miserly with our lights lol. I’m finally fed up with trying to match different brands/temperatures so these will allow me to have each fixture the same color!

Also should have mentioned that my No Rush Reward was something like $2.25, so almost the price of a box!

That price is super suspicious, I usually see about $1 per bulb, and there’s no Sylvania logo on the base in the photo. But it is sold/shipped by Amazon and for 12 cents each for warm white bulbs, you better believe I bought three packs of them, lol. Thanks for the heads up!

Sanderson’s one of my absolute favorite authors! This book will give you a decent taste of his writing style, and though it’s technically the 4th book in a series it should be solid by itself. Dude always wraps up a book nicely with usually only minor cliffhangers.

@dionaea I had never actually purchased any Tomb Raider games until this iteration, and only bought the first because of a random article I read that made it sound incredible at the time. I had no regrets, enjoyed the fist one immensely and have always kinda waited for an irresistible deal to get more. Looks like it’s a good thing I waited Looking forward to these for sure.

According to CCC, lowest Amazon price recorded is $26.99 so this seems like a solid deal for a USB 3.0 drive.

I thought these were a goofy concept, until I obliterated several crayons using crappy crayon sharpeners which more often ate half the crayon rather than make it pointy. Worth it to skip the hassle more often than not.

@dionaea “Decent games” is a super personal and broad question. As I’m fond of telling my own Dad, no Kindle is REALLY made for gaming, they’re basically meant for web browsing and media streaming and not much else. That said, I have quite a few solid games on my old HD 8. You can install emulators that allow you to play classic console games (think classic Nintendo up to n64 level graphics), or you can search YouTube for plenty of step-by-step how-to videos on getting access to the Google Play Store on your new Kindle (I’ve done this to my HD 8 as well), which has a MUCH broader range of games available, and if you already have purchased some through Google you can install them that way without purchasing them again. If you need any more help than that, shoot me some messages and I’ll see if I can help

Hmm, good price but many of the most recent reviews are quite mixed. Sounds like if true colors and durability are important to you, you may want to look elsewhere (though really, what do you expect out of construction paper?). Might grab one or two anyway, thanks!

Got my 3 rebates today, though it was a near thing. They looked suspiciously like some spam mail I get regularly and almost got tossed, and only a second glance saved them! Glad to finally have them in hand.

Actually, I opted for First Alert brand smoke detectors for my house a few months ago (apparently you should replace those things every 8-10 years or so) because Kidde reviews were mixed. This May, Kidde announced a big recall even on those, soooo maybe Kidde should just stop making crappy emergency products period

My kids’ school has their supply list up online for the upcoming school year, and almost everything on it was on sale at Staples, so this is awesome to get knocked out early and have one less thing to worry about down the road. Thanks!

Am I missing something, or does this depend on local prices? This link showing $83.47 and $61.47 for me, online and locally. I do see a 14/3 50-footer for closer to your price.
