If you’ve never read Sanderson before, this is an excellent introduction to his (superb) writing style. He is presently my favorite author, and he works nonstop to crank out each massive novel in his ever-expanding Cosmere. If you like this book (or even if you don’t) I also recommend the rest of the Cosmere novels, starting with the Mistborn trilogy which was my first Sanderson experience. The Audiobooks are all excellent as well.

@angryeyebrows That’s my hope too, though I’ve already been surprisingly pleased with all their offers so far! At the rate I get to play these days, I won’t need to pay out of pocket for a loooong time.

I got excited when I saw Crashlands was on sale in the Play Store because I’ve been wanting to try it out. Nothing beats free, though!

At this price I’m certainly still considering ordering it (though most positive reviews seem to come from people feeding their birds, lol), but it still rankles when companies have such shady online reviews of their products.

A buck each for the other novels in the series, too! Reviews seem solid. Luke Daniels narrates the (discounted, except for the Web of Eyes) audiobooks and I’ve always really liked his style.

After much debate, I ended up buying this exact model a few months ago. After initially hating it (mostly because it was installed poorly and this caused issues with it repeatedly shutting itself off because of a nonexistent malfunction) I have come to appreciate it. I needed to be able to program the schedule because I also had a hot water recirculator installed and didn’t want any conflicts between the two. So far so good in that regard. I am excited to see how it performs during the heat of the summer, as it’s installed in an un-insulated garage and the air blowing out of it is frigid.

Apparently this item has only been on the market for a few weeks, so the overwhelming number of poor reviews without any actual customer feedback is highly suspicious. I suspect automated shenanigans. I’m not in need of masks, but if I were I might gamble on these getting the job done well enough. The seller, Yixiangxun does seem suspect, though

Worth noting that the other books in the series are 99 cents each at the moment, and I’ll vouch for R.C. Bray being a decent narrator if you decide to also pick up the audiobooks.

Agreed. As someone with limited funds, their generosity with quality free games is deeply appreciated. If I ever get around to having extra money, I’ll certainly be returning the favor! The Stanley Parable has been on my Steam wishlist for ages, now I’ll finally get to check it out!

@krazy9katz Hmm, I kept up the web tab with the option to Cancel my order, then checked to see how I was charged. When I saw it took my promo credits, I clicked the Cancel button and checked again and my No Rush Promo credits were back the way they had been I seem to recall running into this issue before and I think they were able to re-issue them just fine, so maybe you’re just getting lousy support people! Always a coin toss these days, though lately I’ve had good luck with them.

I thought I did the same one time, turns out I depleted all my No Rush Reward balance. While technically “free”, it did wipe out all my accrued rewards. I did test this just now and it did the same thing, had $20+ in rewards saved up and it used them up for this purchase and said “Promotion” in my digital orders receipt (I cancelled the order immediately after to refund the balance without issue). Just a heads-up to anyone who might try this.

Hmm, I’ve been using the original G502 for years (the precision aim button really came in handy for 3D modeling, and I got addicted to using it frequently) and it’s been a very solid gaming mouse. Think I paid like $70 for it. Might be time to pick up a fancy spare… thanks!

Those Greenmade boxes are rock-solid, and that’s a darn fine price even if you’re not using rewards. I’ve got a half dozen that I use for rotating our kids’ toys in and out of storage and for holiday decorations, they’re quite handy.
