@VegasVegan no, can’t stack because this charge comes thru from Paypal, not direct using an Amex. Charges from Paypal to your Amex aren’t considered part of the deal.

There is nothing absurd about returning items that do not fit as the fitting rooms are closed due to COVID.
But still, there is nothing absurd about returning two purchases. What is the scam, I bought a $150 of items for $140 and returned both items. Instead of getting $140 back, Kohl’s gave me $130 back plus a $10 store credit that expired in 30 days.
They converted part of my purchase price refund into a store credit with an expiration date. If you cannot see the scam, sorry I can not help you.The rules surrounding the use of Kohls cash are well known, you obviously thought you weren’t subject to learning the rules of earning/using them and now you want to shove this ‘scam’ concept down everyone’s throat who is telling you it’s your own fault and not Kohls. Now you know, so there’s no reason why this should happen to you again. Just chalk it up to experience, not to being the victim of a scam.
They may be well known to regular shoppers, but this surprises me. If you spend $140 on a CC, you should get $140 back, not $130 and a $10 coupon. Personally, I would handle this with a CC chargeback. The customer never agreed to use the $10 in cash to purchase a $10 coupon that has a short expiration date.
@dangeRuss you would get the $140 back had the Kohls Cash NOT been redeemed. If you redeemed it, then the rules change. As with any ‘rewards’ type program at any merchant, you have to acquaint yourself with the rules before playing the game. The rules aren’t always fair or to one’s liking, but I seriously doubt you’d be successful on a chargeback because you REDEEMED the Kohls Cash and forfeited the opportunity for the full refund by doing so.

Just a note that these run about $4.50 + tax in my area. Seems a little pricey for what they are.
I’d be very selective with this deal. Some of the prices of items online are ridiculously high, such that 50% off with $10 rebate makes them only an ‘ok’ price. You can often to better just shopping the sales and buying in store w/o all this rebate BS.
Case in point: Signature Select Hamburger Buns $3.49?? Are you freaking kidding me. These are 89c, sometimes 69c at ALDI everyday. so even at 1/2 price $1.75 is no deal and I know Acme runs these for on sale for $1 at times.
Some things are decent at 50% off, 16oz Organic fresh spinach for $5 ($2.50)
But my other question, what’s the minimum order amount to do pick up? Usually it’s like $35 or $50 and they charge you a shopping fee, don’t they?
@my4mainecoons can you clarify what, if any other rules apply here (min orders, shopping fees, etc) thnx.

Thanks, MC. Would have spent full price buying food, bedding, and hay for my guinea pig, Jack, anyway. Nice to be able to get it at 20% off. This could make for some good deals when coupled with PetSmart store coupons for added savings…
@MrVietnam don’t forget to price match where it saves money! they will match chewy.com online prices in store for instance. Then coupon on top of PM.
Yes, I have been price matching sometimes. Does chewy.com have the cheapest prices around? I have Petco around here, but they are just as expensive as PetSmart if not more. But thank you for the reminder.
you have to compare, depends on the item, but almost typically they are cheaper than instore Petsmart prices.
Thanks @ctgolfer good deal. 10% off a gallon plus the extras the @sonofzeus shared.
I get 3% back on online purchases from my BOA visa, so about 17% off total with RMN CB. Makes a $3 gallon of gas $2.50ish.
Just a heads up:
For the “SEAFOOD” offer, cans or pouches of TUNA FISH work fine. Does not have to be fresh seafood. So you can buy $3.51+ of tuna and submit for the rebate. I’ve done it twice already on two receipts and they’re processing (past the rejection phase)
@dionaea said in 3G networks will disappear this year — and that’s bad news for your car. Here’s why if you have Navigation/GPS in car:
Bad news for those of us with old cell phones too - mine is an older-than-dirt Motorola 755 clamshell flip phone, which is fine since I only need it to make calls, take calls, and take messages mostly if I’m away from the house. Even Verizon (my carrier) has lousy reception in my rural location, we’re retired and home most of the time, so we have a landline plus up-to-date laptops. I’m starting to gather information now on affordable (that’s a joke!) smart cell phones with a reasonably large view screen that is also user friendly. Also I intend to buy it outright rather than make payments since I’m “grandfathered in”, contract expired years ago, and I just pay a monthly statement.
@Dionaea there are many affordable cell phones with 5-6" screens sometimes in the $100 price range on a good deal. Just has to be unlocked and compatible with your carrier. You really do get a lot of bang for you buck given what you can accomplish with a smart phone vs a flip phone. Plus with app savings and other things you may not be taking advantage of now, it helps pay for it over time. I’m a fan of Motorola phones, have found them to be reliable, capable and fairly easy to learn. But that’s one of many brands you can check out.

Question: is it coded as GROCERY STORES by the credit card we use for making the purchase? I notice the Confirmation email sender is GIFT CARD MALL … not Kroger.com.
I want to use the right cc to maximize cashback. BTW… I put in 2 orders already… seems like no limit?
Likely not as supermarkets if confirm email is giftcardmall.

@my4mainecoons said in Top Cashback: Poorest tracking of orders and repeated customer service denials of claims:
I’ve placed 4 orders through TCB since last night and all have tracked.
Tracking is one thing. This tracked properly on 1/27, now they updated it as ‘declined’, the 20c CB AND the $2.50 bonus. What a crock, opened a ticket but we know how much good that will do. Telling you, this site is no damn good. Tired of the BS with them.
Have to say, I’ve about had it with TCB. Even if they are paying the highest, what good is it if you are constantly not getting the cashback due you? And even worse, when you submit perfectly documented claims of your order, you get the BS excuse you went through a different channel/claim denied answer.
You can see my terse reply to them today. I know the big Black Friday order I did for RA was done properly because there was that $3.50 bonus on $10 (or $3 I forget which) that I was doing this order on to get in addition to the 6% CB at the time. I’ve had this issue before with Office Depot orders too never tracking. Time to cut my losses with them and just use another CB site. Not sure what’s worse, the CB not getting reported or the joke customer service claims they ‘submit’ that rarely, if ever, result in any CB showing up in the accounts.

This is simply not true and without question, Top Cashback is the only CB site that I have these repeated issues with. Stuff doesn’t report properly, well documented submissions for tickets followed by lame reasons and excuses for not paying out what is due. I just had to open a 2nd ticket for my Rite Aid order on 11/28 that hasn’t tracked and I’m sure it will be met with this same excuse.
Despite being a loyal user of your site since it first entered the US years back, I’ve lost out on too much cashback and corresponding bonuses to continue with you any longer. Ebates, Be Frugal, Retail Me Not and other CB sites where things didn’t track properly have always stood behind my inquiries and paid out what was due me. I am extremely disappointed and frankly, quite tired of not getting the cash back due me from TCB. You simply pass the buck as your replies. There is absolutely NO WAY I went through any other channel for this order as I was doing it to get the $3.50 black friday bonus that I activated when the order was originally placed. I am 100% positive I followed the procedures correctly. Doesn’t matter I guess.

Hi there,
Having chased the status of your claim with the merchant network it unfortunately appears your claim has returned declined. The reason given to us for the decline is “another marketing channel.”
The most common reasons behind this declined resolution is either that TopCashback was not the last referred click when making a transaction, or that a coupon/promotional code was used that was not listed on our site.
If you would like further information please do get back to us on this claims thread.
We are very sorry about this unfortunate outcome, we do appreciate that this can be very disappointing.
Best wishes,
TopCashback Support.
