@kohlspowrshopper I was asking about the % off code I received w/ the KC. Nothing special about it, correct? Its just the 25% off FnF code. When I received it I thought it was unique and I was “special” but I’m not.

@kohlspowrshopper said in Small Kitchen Electrics for $2 or Less AC & MIR & $15 KC & Y2Y & FS @Kohls.com thru Nov 24:
25% off storewide (Nov 30-Dec 06), which will also be a new KC earning period
When I received the Kohls cash for purchasing appliances I also received a 25% off code valid those same dates. There’s a bar code with a PIN but it also says FRIENDS25. So nothing super special about what I received? If its the same 25% off storewide then I can’t stack it, right?

RE: Rite Aid Black Friday Ad Scan 2017
@barrytuneup I didn’t think of getting eg grocery cats for purchases as MS.
Would you consider the following MS? I just think of it as getting cheap gas.
- Bought $400 prepaid Visas at Staples. Rebate covers the activation fee. 5% back on Chase Ink so $20.
- Used the $400 in prepaids to buy $400 in Best Buy gc at Rite Aid. Earned 1600PP per acct (4 accts, $16 ea)
- Used the $400 in Best Buy gc to buy $375 in gas gc (Shell & Mobil) and $25 Panera card.
- Use the Mobil gc when I have Plenti offers for eg 7x pts per gallon.
If gas is $2.50/gallon by my math I’m paying ~ $1.90/gallon. Like I said, I think of it as getting cheap gas not MS.
IMO MS is buying stuff to rack up credit card bonus. In the above instance just the initial $400 on Chase Ink would be MS.

RE: 50% off staples rewards plus
@pruhtp He probably doesn’t care about the 5% since his spend to date is $180.
@dangeRuss I think if you only want to be able to recycle 20 carts it makes sense to get Business Rewards or the More Acct. However, I don’t understand how you’d miss out on $120/year. Why not $240?
For those who spend money at Staples the Business Rewards Program is a money loser. I was also “upgraded” for free but called to be downgraded to normal after I realized I’d lost $130 in Rewards.

@barrytuneup IDK if you’ll see this before I head out in AM. Have you been in any of the following CT stores this weekend?
Norwalk, Fairfield, Milford (2 stores), Enfield
I won’t bother stopping if you’ve already been there. -

@my4mainecoons oh you add goodies to the noodles. so you cook. i usually microwave bag ones for 90 secs with boiling water. yea not cup i meant bowl. not big enough for a meal but good for snack. or add regular cheapo ramen noodles after i’m done with neoguri noodles. i’m not supposed to drink all the soup so add lil more hot water and micro!
got some kimchi ones in bag to try at walmart and i like those too.
I love that you think microwaving ramen & tossing in tofu/veggies is cooking.
If I have a plastic bowl ramen I dump the contents into one of my soup bowls.
I put water for the ramen into the plastic bowl, swish it around then dump onto the ramen.
Clean plastic bowl can then go in the recycling bin. -
