Is Data what you use when there’s no wifi to access the web? Is 3GB ~ 3000 minutes? I’ve never accessed the web any way other than a wifi network.

@MISTERCHEAP did you use your $20 credit yet? Did it just come off a $20 transaction without activation? Did the $20 in groceries include more than just dairy & produce?

There are codes printed along the edge of the rolls of stamps and other “checks”. I stopped buying stamps from eBay years ago because I couldn’t be certain that they were real. I missed the CVS deal.

Not sure if this still works, but for those with j4u, buy supermarket eGC. The next time you buy Zift cards use the supermarket eGC to pay.

I don’t see anything about cancellation in the T&C.
Usually they notify one before charging the automatic renewal.
I’m thinking that one could cancel before being charged.

Last year I bought 40 wide mouth quart jars for $25 on Marketplace place. Kept 15 and sold the other 25 for $20.

I store almost everything in Mason jars. If you have a FoodSaver use the jar attachment on Mason jars to keep everything fresher for longer. Opened blocks of cheese won’t mold or dry out for months. The cats get a raw diet. I make ~6 weeks worth and freeze it in jars.

Picked up some clearance items, used Rewards for oop $0.95. Asked for the free crayons. They hadn’t brought them to the register yet. I must’ve been the first person to ask. It was after 3PM.

@rick505 can’t you get a new phone with 1500 minutes/year for less than that? I thought that’s what folks did but I’m no expert; I’m ~6 months into using my first TracFone.

@mistercheap Agree. Usually I test transactions but this might be an instance where it doesn’t come off until you finalize (like the current $5/$5 wyb gc) and once it’s finalized it can’t be voided.

@mistercheap CS told me that it would come off the next time I had a $20 basket. Didn’t say anything about clipping it. I wonder if the $20/$20 has an expiration date. LMK what you learn.

@mrvietnam unless it’s changed, they do work at SCO but the $5 doesn’t show until the very end. The screen shows $0 taken off but the $5 comes off when you finalize.

If you want to test it, ring up the transaction, scan the $5/$5 and drop a piece of scrap paper in the coupon slot when prompted. Finalize. If it worked then drop the $5/$5 in the coupon slot. If it doesn’t work tell the SCO person what happened. Explain that you didn’t drop the Q in initially because you wouldn’t be able to retrieve it if it didn’t work.

One isn’t supposed to be able to purchase GC at SCO. When I do it I use a register next to the SCO person’s area to make it easier for both of us.

The 4x j4u points offer can be clipped starting at midnight on Saturday and is valid Saturday and Sunday only. Doesn’t apply to VC, MC, gas, phone and Albertsons store cards.

@mistercheap The account has FP but this is a Bonus Path offer which a non-FP account can receive. I’ve done other BP offers but none as high value as this one. My experience is that if you complete it then the following month you get another that’s worth less e.g. get $1 off wyb $5 dairy, then $2 off wyb $15 dairy then $3 wyb $30 dairy. I did a $5/$50 dairy a few years ago.

The tracking is whole dollar amounts rounded down, $2.99 tracks as $2.
Liquid dairy usually doesn’t count, but occasionally branded milk (A2) seems to count.
Using the FP $5/$5 counts against the total so yesterday I rang up my produce separately and made sure the total was <$5 so the $5/$5 didn’t get applied.
IDK how the $20 credit will apply. I don’t spend $20 at once unless I’m trying to use a $20/$20.
Hopefully it will be applied as a credit to the account.

I received the same $20/$20 offer on an account that doesn’t have FP. I stopped using that account because I can’t log into it but I still receive emails for it.

Finally able to get the app to work. I suspect the servers were having issues when I tried to sync it w/SR 2 weeks ago. I had an old unused SR account from 10 years ago and it was still there.

Was able to enter a prepaid Visa gc when app wanted a form of payment. (5% back Chase Ink from Staples). I didn’t want to list a real cc. The VC will be empty but the system requirement was satisfied.

The pump showed the price with discounts applied: $0.42/gallon.
Paid with a Shell gc I’d gotten by cashing out BC at RA.
Staples also sells Shell gc.
Shell gc work fine at the pump; no need to go into the store as needed for VIsa or MC gc.

I’m deciding between $20 back wyb $20 at CVS, $50/$50 from Macy’s and $50/$50 from iHerb. I was about to order supplements from Amazon. iHerb is cheaper but we don’t need $50 worth and I have Amazon gc that were free. I did a 20% back from CVS last month. Decisions decisions…

It’s free but a slight MM, if Mypoint pays out the offer,every 160 points is equivalent to a $1 so 17500/160=109.38 On a $98 sub. I paid 98+8.70 in tax for 106.70 and with aforementioned value I will be making 2.68 before losing another .30 for a paypal redemption. So essentially it’s free after rebate, not a MM.

I was making a 500+ mile round trip every weekend for 6 months when settling my Dad’s estate. I timed out stops at Panera’s every 2 hours along the way. I’d order for the next stop from the current location. I kept reusing the same tall plastic cups w/lids. I’d walk in, place my order for the next stop then fill a couple of cups with lemonade, iced coffee or decaf. You can have unlimited refills but only order Sip Club every 2 hours. I was getting 1 Sip Club and refills. I had jugs & a funnel in the trunk. Would empty the cups into the jugs and head to the next location. I kept some in Dad’s refrigerator for when staying there. At home I froze a lot of lemonade which I mixed with iced tea in summer. The closest location to me is an hour away so I usually can’t use cheap/free Sip Club but that year I got 2@ 3 month offers.

On the Rewards page, just below the Points total is a switch to “Automatically convert Points into cash off at checkout “. I was never interested in it because I save for $20/$20’s but today I learned about it.

If you turn it on it will use 100 points (assuming you have them) and take $1 off your next transaction. It’s only $1, no other denominations. It doesn’t matter if your total is $1 or $25, if you have 100 or 1000 points. It will only use 100 points at a time. It will do it repeatedly until you run out of points, one transaction at a time.

I have/had an account that I can no longer log into and I have to contact CS to do anything on the account. I received an email telling me that the account had points expiring 1-31. I had to call CS to find out how many points were on the account and to have them redeem them for me. I learned that I had 500+ points so asked if they could be redeemed for a $5/$5. There was definitely a communication problem. The CSR led me to believe that she was clipping a $5/$5 but kept saying that 100 points was $1 off. After ending the call I called back and spoke to a different CSR. I asked him to confirm that there was a $5/$5 clipped. That’s when I learned about the Automatic Cash and that 1st CSR had activated it on the account. He looked at the 500 point redemption options. A $5/$5 doesn’t exist. There are only q’s for $5 off specific products. He checked > and < 500 points and there weren’t any achievable $ off options. There was no way for me to use the 500 points on a $5 item.

So, I went to Shaw’s and bought 5@$1 candy bars, one at a time. Each time $1 came off as a store coupon. Total due was $0. Then I returned all 5 candy bars. Now, if the store had done what they technically were supposed to do, I would have ended up with a $5 credit on the account which the CSR said could be used all at once as $5/$5. However, the store did what they usually do, offered a refund to my card (?) or cash. Of course I chose cash. They handed me a $5 bill.
