J4u Automatic Cash Offposted in Deal Discussion
On the Rewards page, just below the Points total is a switch to “Automatically convert Points into cash off at checkout “. I was never interested in it because I save for $20/$20’s but today I learned about it.
If you turn it on it will use 100 points (assuming you have them) and take $1 off your next transaction. It’s only $1, no other denominations. It doesn’t matter if your total is $1 or $25, if you have 100 or 1000 points. It will only use 100 points at a time. It will do it repeatedly until you run out of points, one transaction at a time.
I have/had an account that I can no longer log into and I have to contact CS to do anything on the account. I received an email telling me that the account had points expiring 1-31. I had to call CS to find out how many points were on the account and to have them redeem them for me. I learned that I had 500+ points so asked if they could be redeemed for a $5/$5. There was definitely a communication problem. The CSR led me to believe that she was clipping a $5/$5 but kept saying that 100 points was $1 off. After ending the call I called back and spoke to a different CSR. I asked him to confirm that there was a $5/$5 clipped. That’s when I learned about the Automatic Cash and that 1st CSR had activated it on the account. He looked at the 500 point redemption options. A $5/$5 doesn’t exist. There are only q’s for $5 off specific products. He checked > and < 500 points and there weren’t any achievable $ off options. There was no way for me to use the 500 points on a $5 item.
So, I went to Shaw’s and bought 5@$1 candy bars, one at a time. Each time $1 came off as a store coupon. Total due was $0. Then I returned all 5 candy bars. Now, if the store had done what they technically were supposed to do, I would have ended up with a $5 credit on the account which the CSR said could be used all at once as $5/$5. However, the store did what they usually do, offered a refund to my card (?) or cash. Of course I chose cash. They handed me a $5 bill.

RE: Petsmart (pick or or B&M) spend $25 on Cat Litter AND Cat Food on same order, get $10 back in points and 8-20% CB at TCB (see post)posted in Hot Deals
@mistercheap I’ve never done this offer because of the litter requirement. Cheapest litter is $6 for non-clumping clay. That’s not worth buying for just the food.
We’ve used wood pellets for10+ years. I’ve gotten them for as little as $2 from Marketplace to $6.99 at Lowe’s for a 40# bag. Stool can be flushed and the sawdust is compostable. -

~September I activated a TracFone with the year of minutes & data. Used it twice to text rebates. In December I received an email saying that I needed to use it or it could be deactivated. I read the T&C but couldn’t find anything about a minimum use requirement. Anyone familiar with this?

RE: Free BOTTLE of SB Frappuccino with J4u FreshPass, YMMVposted in Grocery & Drugstore
Sign still says 50% off but ever hopeful I price checked a bag of Holiday Blend. It scanned for $6.49.
At a different store there are 50% off stickers on them. Price checked the bag. $6.49.
So $6.49 - 50% made it $3.24. $0.24 after the $3/1 q.
Now I don’t have to keep checking for 75% off and I was able to purchase while there’s still plenty of stock. -

RE: P&G NFL Rebate - get $15 wyb $50 or get $5 wyb $20 (1/2/26 - 2/28/26) Limit 1 per HHposted in Hot Deals
@dangeruss P&G killed the ability to DD a few years ago. I bought $50 P&G @ Staples when they had 30% back in Rewards wyb Breakroom & Cleaning Supplies. PM’d to WM for Dawn & Bounty. Paid with Chase Ink. Received the rebate, 30% Staples Rewards and 5% on the $50. Didn’t use any coupons since P&G rebates use the amount paid after Q’s.
Usually I buy $50 P&G from Amazon when they give $15 credit for buying Household products. Spend $50 using Amazon gc get back $15 rebate & $15 Amazon credit. @Marvomatic usually posts when there’s an Amazon offer.

RE: EXPIRES TUE 12/9! FreshPass Membership $49 for One Year at ALBERTSON's and related chains + $10 cashback at RAKUTENposted in Expired Deals
I lost access to one of my accounts in April. Each month I’ve had to call CS to have them clip q’s for me. Call your chain’s CS #. The system will tell you that it can help with an order, etc. or “something else”. Say " something else" then say “FreshPass” when the system asks you what you want help with. That’s the quickest path to a live person. I tried Chat once. The rep said that they clipped the q’s but they weren’t there when I tried to use them.
Don’t call the FreshPass VIP line listed on the FP page. They only help with the subscription itself.

@c3 I haven’t used Rakuten much so maybe it doesn’t mean anything? All I know is that the $ in the upper left corner in red shows the $10 from yesterday AM. RE: Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1posted in Expired Deals

RE: Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1posted in Expired Deals
@mrvietnam said in Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1:
I signed up for this offer last night and this morning I see I have five dollars pending cash back on Rakuten. Evidently this $4.99 offer qualified me for the Disney+ Hulu bundle basic which pays five dollars, so my first month will be free, even if I don’t continue it later on. I’ll wait until the charge posts on my American Express blue every day card and then wait a few more days to see if the five dollar credit gets posted by American Express or not. If it does this deal could wind up being a year of free Disney+ and Hulu and a five dollar MM…
Why are you expecting $5 from Amex?

RE: Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1posted in Expired Deals
@yoregano He wasn’t planning on signing up at all, now he might be in for 6 months 😀
I bought the 12 month subscription last BF and haven’t used it more than 4 times, if that. Maybe I’ll try 6 months this year. -
RE: Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1posted in Expired Deals
Same cb for Rakuten but Rakuten specified the premium bundle, ie no ads. So $5?

-
RE: Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1posted in Expired Deals
Top Cash back has the following so maybe $7.50 back? I wondered if offers would appear for BF.

-
RE: Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1posted in Expired Deals
@mrvietnam it says up to $7 per month not that you’ll get $7. I presume the person who buys a big package or multiple single subscriptions will get $7. I wonder if the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited, NFL Premium package which is $48.99/mo. would even qualify for the $7/mo. because 6% of that is only $3.
The Blue Cash Preferred card specifically says that one earns 6% back. That’s the same % back as for groceries. The Blue Cash Everyday earns 3% back on groceries so that’s why I suspect one would earn 3% back for Disney+.
-
RE: Disney+/Hulu combo - $4.99/month for 12 months - Offer ends 12/1posted in Expired Deals
Amex Blue Cash Preferred gives 6% back on streaming services. So 30¢/month.
Amex Blue Cash says this “Benefit Details. Now, with the enhanced $84 Disney Streaming Credit, you can earn up to $7 back per month as a statement credit when you use your enrolled Blue Cash Everyday® Card to purchase a subscription, or bundle subscription, on DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com, or Plus.espn.com U.S. websites, now with no minimum purchase requirement. Subscription is subject to auto-renewal.”
My guess is that one would get 3% back with Amex Blue Cash, 15¢/month.
