@mistercheap IDK if its still this way but initially if you recycled eg 10 ink & a tech item you’d receive credit for 9 ink and the tech. The system counted an ink towards tech. I don’t want to give my regular 30 and get credit for 10 @ 500 and a tech item. I’m going to use the pre-loaded offers before the regular one.
@mistercheap The downside would be needing to get an error corrected.
I don’t trust the system to apply 2 codes at the same time correctly as we saw with tech & ink overlap. I think I’ll do 10 @500 in one transaction then my regular 30.

What’s the best way to do it? Recycle my regular 30 and see if I get 10@500 and 20@400?

I bought $1K in HD GC and a box of Mott’s bars at Shaw’s. Earned 5% + 10 j4u Rewards. Do 12 Rewards still earn a $20/$20?
I just spent $3K at HD but because of the Discover $1500 limit I only got $1K in HD gc at Shaw’s. Bought the other $2K with Chase Ink at Staples. Ink 5% limit is $15K/year.
@dangeruss I have seen it work at RA but at RA it’s play money. The Ibotta is $1/1 and I’d rather have $2 back than maybe just save 50¢/2. Grocery store items rarely have “no mq” specified vs. WM often has it. This is the first time I can recall seeing the exclusion for a supermarket chain.
I now have ibotta offers for Mott’s and soft NV bars. I wonder if I will be able to find them.
Ibotta specifically excludes q use so won’t use the 50¢/2 j4u eQ.
@dangeruss I had a water treatment company install it. I looked but can’t find how much I paid. My guess is ~$1700. There’s no brand name on it but it looks like a Clack. I paid $130 for an annual service visit in 2018 and the guy changed my sediment filter for me too. Researching this for you I learned that there might be a filter in the softener. Maybe I should have another maintenance visit. The cat carrier is for scale. The salt tub takes up more floor space than the softener.
@kimi Not a huge chocolate fan. It took years for me to go through all the Godiva bars I got when Staples put them on clearance.
