Wasn;t the Albertsons gift card deal supposed to be good through yesterday (6/19/25). Yesterday I went to my affiliate and bought $75 in a Zillions gift card but I did not get a $15 OYNO coupon print on the sales receipt.
UPDATE: I called customer service and they gave me a $15 credit onto my account which is better than the receipt coupon as the $15 credit issued by customer service doesn’t have an expiration date (but like the receipt coupon has to be redeemed all at one time).
Are you certain that it has to be redeemed all at one time? I’ve received credits from CS that could be used over multiple transactions. Buy something small and see what happens.
Scroll back up to the post for which you said “thanks” 😋

@my4mainecoons Thank you! That really was very helpful.
@mistercheap It was probably for folks like me who activate through the link in the email.
I received a 2nd email saying there was a problem with the first link. Activated a 2nd time. Double check to be sure you’ve activated.

If they run the 1/2 price offer again this holiday season, highly encourage you to do it.
I paid $49, got $65 in credits plus money on Rakuten $10 I think (Fresh Pass CB offer)
(joined late November, will get 13 x $5 monthly Q’s = $65) got for November 24 and will get it again in November 25.
And no limit on the $10 from Rakuten. You can earn $10 cb for every j4u acct you have on one Rakuten account. Other sites including iBotta have also had $10 cash back for FreshPass subscription.
@yoregano Are you sure? 1200 points for $20/$20 at Shaw’s too.
The previous offer was for the 48 oz. bottle. This one is for the 64 oz.
@mistercheap I only do the deal when I have a use for the gc, ie stove & range hood from Lowe’s, house paint ~$100/gallon from Ace. PetSmart now charges shipping for canned food so won’t be getting more PS gc.
@mistercheap SCO is my friend for $5 transactions.
Having bought so many gc and earned 4x j4u now I have to figure out how to use $20/$20’s.
@mistercheap I have to find fillers to spend $10 in a transaction, $15 would be even harder. Between the gift card offer $/$ and FreshPass I’ve probably spent <$15/month additional on groceries in 2025.
Since they’re good for several weeks I’d look at the upcoming week’s ad to plan when to use the $/$'s.
@MrVietnam how does the cashier know what kind of card you’re swiping?
@MISTERCHEAP I was just saying that using Chase Ink for prepaid Visa/MC gc to buy gc at Acme gets you the 5% back when its not the one quarter per year that Discover offers 5% back. I buy the VC/MC for anticipated expenses like dental visits, car insurance, quarterly health insurance and major purchases. Having 3 windows replaced this summer ($12K) and will buy prepaids to use at the lumber yard. IDK when it happened but the Chase 5% spending cap went from $15K to $25K a year! I keep 2-3 $200 prepaids on hand for unexpected bills.
I’ve posted about these deals and Zillions cards several times, not sure why only now it’s being discussed.😉 I prefer the smaller deals like $5/$5 for buying $25 gc and $10/$10 for buying $50. Sometimes I stacked the $5/$5 or $10/$10 with a Fresh Pass $5/$5.
In Feb. I bought $25 PetSmart and Chewy (via Zift Zillions) gc for $5/$5’s. In March bought 8@$50 Lowe’s gc and 2@$50 Zillions cards. Bought a stove from Lowe’s to use up the gc, had 10 @$10/$10 to use in 2 weeks. In April I bought 8@$25 Zillions cards (Ace HW) and have used half of those already. The rest will be used in July. Always purchased on Sat or Sunday for 4x points. Always paid with prepaid Visa/MC from Staples for 5% Chase Ink.
@mistercheap IDK if you have a Chase Ink. I buy the $200 prepaid gc when there’s no activation fee. Get 5% back. Use those gc to buy GC at the supermarket year round.
I use prepaid gc for anything that’s not giving me at least 5% back. Top Cashback doesn’t allow prepaid cards to be used on gc purchases.
@MISTERCHEAP Activate on their website. Select eGC based on the card you have. I think the minimum is $5. If you have a $50 A Gift For You can get e.g. $50 Amazon or $10 Amazon, $15 Lowe’s & $25 Chewy or any combination you want up to the value of the Zift card.
As mentioned above, Shaw’s doesn’t carry Ace gift cards and that’s where we get our Ben Moore paint. So I bought a $25 Zift “For The Home” which I redeemed for a $25 Ace eGC. Store was able to scan the eGC but I print them anyway.
I was buying a stove from Lowe’s so I bought a bunch of $50 Zift that had Lowes on them. Learned that I could only redeem 2 Zift cards a day.
I also bought Lowe’s gc but buying Zift doesn’t lock you into just one merchant.
BTW, you can only use one $15/$15 per Acme transaction. It scans as $0 but then should take the $ off after hitting Total. I use a cashier the first time I use one to make sure they’re working. In April (?) it wasn’t programmed correctly until the 2nd week of the promo so cashier had to manually enter the coupon value until they fixed it. Once I know they’re working then I can use them at SCO.
I’ve bought a lot of these and the $15/$15 didn’t expire in 7 days, it expired at the end of the promotion. So if you purchase on e.g. June 6 it doesn’t expire until after June 19.
Don’t forget to activate 4x j4u points for gc purchases on Saturday AM and to purchase on Saturday or Sunday.
The Zift Zillions cards offer options that aren’t on the participating card list. e.g. Amazon, Wayfair, Chili’s, Subway, PetSmart, Chewy, Staples, Macy’s, etc. You can only activate 2 Zillions cards a day “for security reasons”.
Home Depot and Xbox are not on Zillions and never included in these gc offers.
Shaws doesn’t carry Ace HW gc but Ace is included on Zillions. So I bought Zillions and redeemed for Ace egc.
@marvomatic an emery board (nail file) is a lot safer for a callus. Just sand it down.
Although the company has yet to reveal the two locations, Giant Eagle shared that they will be similar to four standalone pharmacies it operates, including in Edinboro and Greenville, per Chappell.
In addition to taking over the two Rite Aid spots, the chain will assume responsibility for the pharmacy prescriptions of 78 closing Rite Aid stores in Pennsylvania and Ohio, Giant Eagle announced last Thursday.
“We’re excited to welcome new patients to our Giant Eagle Pharmacy,” Giant Eagle president and CEO Bill Artman said in a news release.
@vegasvegan I read the fine print. 15¢/box so I won’t max out. Having trouble submitting though. Probably maxed out file size with my receipts going back to 2019.
What’s the maximum number of boxes one can claim? I’ve got receipts for 22 so far but I know that I have more. Don’t want to retrieve more than needed. Thanks 🙂.
@ctujackbauer 😃 I’ve had the eGC for 3+ years and have $40+ remaining. Mostly I’ve used it for grocery items that are much cheaper than at the supermarket. Its much easier to get in & out of the supermarket than WM.
Multiple grocery & drug stores, Target etal.
Can’t use $5/$5 FreshPass on liquid dairy but 5% back on Discover card this quarter.

@ctujackbauer I tell the cashier at the regular register to press the GC key. What form of payment do you select at the SCO? No Google involved, just learned when regular cashiers had to call for assistance using the eGC.
scan items. press pay. scan egc. (at self checkout machine)
boom.
If your egc was emailed to you, it might not have the instruction set for cashiers like they would on the good egc sites such as vcdelivery. For a regular cashier-manned machine, they would just follow the instructions.
Its been a while since I used a WM SCO but IIRC it asks how you’re paying. Do you ignore that and just scan?
@ctujackbauer I tell the cashier at the regular register to press the GC key. What form of payment do you select at the SCO? No Google involved, just learned when regular cashiers had to call for assistance using the eGC.
@ctujackbauer That didn’t work for me nor for the SCO supervising cashier. I have it printed out. Regular cashiers sometimes have difficulty with it too but now I know to tell them that they have to press the ‘gift card’ key.
@mrvietnam are you able to use an eGC at the SCO? I tried once and was told that it had to be at a regular register. I received a $100 eGC for being in a focus group but having to use a regular register is a PIA.

I’ve been waiting for this for a week. Was disappointed that it didn’t appear yesterday but I guess it’s because the holiday is on Monday.
Scotts mulch is 5/$10 at Lowes.
@jess888 did you see the offer? It was on the app. Maybe motor oil is a consumable like household goods. Try something else? Maybe it’s targeted since I rarely buy from WM.
@sonofzeus Pennzoil is a big NO. I made that mistake once. Not valid on purchases made on Amazon.com or Walmart.com.
Valvoline and Mobil are now only $5.
IDK if this is hot or not but it might help someone. Use code SAVE10. It doesn’t say if it’s one time use. Lots of exclusions. A motor oil rebate would be nice.

There was a weekly ad online for this current week. It’s gone now. I wonder if everything will become full price. Tums are BOG50% this week. I have ~$200 in RA gc. Yesterday I converted $10 to a Staples gc, bought $40+ of stuff that I can use and transferred all my Rx’s to be filled there, including ones I don’t need now. That will leave ~$50 to use in a month.
ETA: Must be a site issue. The ad is available on non-RA sites.
I was actually heading to RA today because I have a $10/$40 expiring today.
Hopefully can still use it to cover RA gc -> 3rd party gc. It’s only $10 but better to have 3rd party than RA gc.
@penguin110 Check your offers before you recycle. There are (2) recycling offers. There’s the one that everyone gets which was previously 10@500 pts and is now 6@500 pts then there’s the personalized one. My personal one was 30@400 points/month but now its 40@500 points/month. I would’ve only recycled 30 if I hadn’t checked.
I used to get 10@500 points + 30@400 points each month ($80).
This month I’ll get 6@500 points + 40@500 points ($115).
My accounts that only recycle get 6@500 points + 10@100 points ($20) per month, down from 10@500 points + 10@$100 points ($30). I don’t bother recycling the 10@100 points.
OAN: I’ve had to contact CS twice recently and each time they later sent a $10/$10 coupon valid for 6 months.
@dangeruss I consider Chase points to be real money so wouldn’t spend them that way.
My offer is just $10 off $75 and has been that way for a while.
@mtnagel I prefer business machines. Machines for home use have always disappointed me.
I have other Rewards accounts and I use the points on those to buy stuff.
@dangeruss said in Laptop processors:
@my4mainecoons If you aren’t going to play games, I would just get a Mac if you can. It’s really night and day between PC laptops and the M series Macs.
Gemini agrees that the one with the faster CPU is better, if you were to buy the dell.
I didn’t see any Mac Books on Staples.com, just tablets.
I’m comparing 2 laptops and the only obvious difference is the processor with the one with the faster processor being a little less expensive. Why is that? Does it matter if one doesn’t play games?
The specific laptops are this one and this one.
I have $1100+ in Rewards on this Staples account, 99% of which is from ink recycling.
I don’t really need a laptop ATM but why not?
@ohsheet said in P&G Made to Save Rebate - get $15 wyb $50 or get $5 wyb $20 (3/30-6/15/25) limit 1 per HH:
there is also a $10 promo card wys $50 in the app, if you wanna throw that in the picture.
Does this offer have to be activated?
@ohsheet I use a different device and IP address (Staples, Panera, HD, Shaw’s, etc.) when submitting multiples. The issue with P&G is that you have to have a separate PGGE account.
@mistercheap Actually I had already planned to do that because even though I activated the 30% back it didn’t hit my account until 2 hours later so I didn’t get the bonus points. I’m hoping the return-rebuy can just be done on the in store receipt even though it’s a Kiosk order.
@ohsheet They only issued that because I purchased yesterday.
Tempted to do it again; I have a 2nd P&G account that I could use.
