@frugalfreak I’m confused. Why are there 2 Staples Clearance Thread icons with different OP’s?
The Staples Clearance Thread regulars were a small group. Within the FW thread we had a discussion as to what to do after FW closed. PruHTP said he would work on setting up thread on PW. It happened. He said it would be called YMMV and so you’ll see that me and another of the FW Staples Clearance regulars have posted to the YMMV thread. Not sure what marcopolomie’s thread is about. Never saw him on the FW Clearance thread.

I was a frequent post-er to the FW Staples Clearance thread and it wasn’t always easy to find.
Search for STAPLES and a lot of threads appeared, the Clearance thread not necessarily being on the first page.
Sometimes the easiest way to find it was to start on Page 1 of HD and scroll down looking for long green bars.
So I like the YMMV forum and store specific threads.
On FW something YMMV and “hot” was posted on HD and mentioned in the Staples Clearance Thread.

I bought a netbook that had Linux. Being uneasy I had XPP installed instead. It was too much for the little netbook.
Wanted to go back to Linux. I’m probably one of the most unsavvy computer folks on here.
Guys on the FW Technology Forum talked me through step by step installing Easy Peasy on to a flash drive and then booting off of that.

Fast forward a few years. Bought a Surface 3 Pro (clearance at Staples for $199) and it came with Windows 8.
Free update to W10. Tried it and hated it. Went back to W8.
I have very cheap but slow internet. Unable to watch videos with W10 vs. no issues with W8.

Social media? Is that what FB is? I’m a social outcast…

@fivetalents On my XPP machine using Chrome I think it goes directly to printer, doesn’t give me option of pdf. Didn’t “upgrade” coupon printing software for Target-- just click “next time”.
IDK about other OS since I can only print from both sites in XPP.

@c3 agree. Call Parago/ Staples not SOP. I thought I hadn’t received a rebate card. Called them and they were able to tell me where it had been used. My bad.

@frugalfreak I presume you have an acct on USPS? Log in. Select Informed Delivery from the top and you can see the mail you’ll be receiving.
Since the Jet.com coupon is on a postcard, I can see it w/o having the paper.

Rewards are considered a coupon.
Can’t use coupons on gift cards including the activation fee.
You’ll have better luck trying a Staples gc than Rewards.

@lorenw “long time”? I have about 50 bags of food in plastic tubs organized by variety & date. We’ll finish up Exp. 2016 probably in November and then we’ll start on Exp. 2017. I have tubs dated Exp. 2018. A small bag lasts us a week. I don’t pass up free food if its something I’ll feed but I look for furthest date out knowing it will be in stockpile for a while.

@fivetalents Thanks but I haven’t found a gc on Amazon that I can use. Closest SB is an hour away. No Whole Foods or Red Robin in the state. I get “paid” for taste testing with Amazon gc so I always have a surplus. Its not the worst thing of course but cash would be nice.

Maybe this isn’t the correct place to ask, but is there a way to cash out Amazon gc?

@juicer I was “upgraded” to Business Rewards Plus as well. I knew that it was in lieu of receiving 5% Rewards but decided to try it. I’ve spent > $2k this year. That means I haven’t earned $100+ in Rewards. I’ve had a lot of issues with BRP and have chatted w/ CS a few times. I’ve received 2 $25 courtesy coupons for my time so I guess I’ve only lost $50 in the deal but pretty sure I’m going to have them cancel it for 2018.

I purchased something in store using a $10 off of $10 coupon. My items rang up for less than shelf price. BRP kicked in. Had to scramble to find fillers. The only nice surprise from BRP.

You are correct. The most Zyrtec I found in one store was 6 bottles of regular tabs and 4 of the gel caps. So you could do one card in a store that people didn’t hit last week. The bigger issue is that q’s might be NLA due to everyone printing them last week. I’d bought and used insert q’s that expired on Oct. 8.
