Not in the Shaw’s ad but the offer might not be publicized this week. There’s a $5 off wyb $15 Chobani where the gc offer would usually be placed. In the past there were times when the offer wasn’t in the Safeway ad but people got the Q when they bought the gc.
OAN, Polar beverages are often 10/$10 but this week they’re 88¢ ea here. iBotta has 50¢ back for mixers and 50¢ back on seltzers or sodas. Both offers are L5. I bought 5 mixers, 5 seltzer, 15¢ worth of red grapes (25¢ back) , the free chocolate milk ($5 back, on sale for $3.99) and had a 10¢ for any receipt. Besides the purchase cb I earned 2@$5 in bonuses. One required 10 items, the other 13. $7xx MM.
Doing the same thing this week but instead just buying 3 sets of 5 Polar products to earn another 2@$5 bonuses. Smaller MM but I want the beverages and grapes take more effort, lol. Same 10 and 13 purchase requirements. Our sales week ends on Thursday so I purchased earlier in the week and held onto the receipts to start submitting them today, Thursday when the new bonuses come out.

I did this deal last in May or June, my store did indeed have them. Already redeemed all of them (bought $225 worth, that was a $15/15 coupon deal on $75) I like the $10 one better, easier to spend, they sometimes have a $5 for $25 GC, but then you have to do so many transactions, and you can only redeem 1 receipt coupon per transaction, so it’s a lot of work. $10 is just right as is $50 spend on each.

@MrVietnam I elected not to post the valid dates as last time, it messed some people up as the deal dates at other chains were a couple of days different and they bought cards after the deal ended at their chain based on Acme dates. I have the disclaimer in my OP about this to check your local dates.

I got only 400 rewards points. This means that only the 10x J4U offer applied (no additional 4x or 2x) and the system accounted for the $10 coupon and deducted it in calculating the points, considering it as a net $40 purchase.

$142.50 in gc gets you $50 in groceries if you’re using a 5% back cc.I’d rather receive the non-expiring 100 points (Fresh Pass) instead of the $10 coupon which has an expiration date but oh well.

The banner was on the kiosk at my store. I’d say just go for it. Worst case is you get a gift card without a coupon, but you still get bonus points.

I’m in No CA, Safeway land. According to the advertised offer at my Safeway, it started on 8/6 (Wednesday).

Word of caution re: Lowe’s gc which are part of this offer.
- If you pay for an order through TCB with a Lowe’s gc you will not earn any cb. It’s in the fine print.
- If you purchase online using a gc and return the item in-store they will issue a gc that can only be used in-store. It cannot be used for an online order.

I did find Zift cards with the Amazon option and bought and redeemed three today. The first two went without a hitch, but the third order wouldn’t process on the site, giving me an explanation that they couldn’t verify my information. Thankfully, no problems with the actual card info/value, and I ended up changing the email I used and was able to then redeem without a problem.
So perhaps that is their way of trying to limit potential fraud, I guess.

Just out of curiosity, does the new Acme sales week start on a Friday? That is probably why for Acme this deal started on a Friday. My sales week at Vons doesn’t start until Wednesday, so it might not go live for me until this Wednesday.

Thanks. I tried it in Southern California and it worked. I have an American Express blue every day card that earns 3% on grocery purchases so when I added that into the mix, I actually saved 23% on my $50 Amazon gift card…

Is this confirmed fact or speculation on your part @yoregano ? Still doesn’t make much sense as I don’t think the system would know because this 10x offer started before the $10/50 coupon print out. and it’s not like you got an instant $10 savings on the GC. You still spent $50 for it, so I’m going to call C/S on Monday and see what they say.

Then used the MC gc at Shaw’s to see what happened if bought $50 Zift.
Received the $10/$10 and 4x points (200 points).

I just contacted Vons customer service and explained the situation about me only getting 400 points per $50 gift card instead of the 500 points per gift card I should have received and the 10x J4U offer I had, and he gladly just verified my purchases and then he credited my account 300 points for the three gift cards I had a shortage from. Now that was easy, as Staples might say.

Well, based on all the updates about contacting CS about the points discrepancies, I called too and got my credits issued.
