@mtnagel Have you tried running the machine (empty) with vinegar instead of detergent? Doing that regularly might help.

My neighbor cleans his washing machine by doing an empty load with bleach and something else… Maybe a load with vinegar? I’d never heard of cleaning a washing machine before.

I had to replace the mixing valve in my shower several times because of hard water. I’d remove the valve, soak it in vinegar and replace it. Moen even sent me another one so I had a demineralized one on hand. But it’s a tight connection and after I had to call the plumber (again) to do the exchange I got a water softener.

The Big Lots near me recently reopened after we got flooded last summer. I have to assume it was worth the cost to restore it although the store has never seemed busy and I never find anything that can’t be bought for less elsewhere.

I can’t remember if Amazon purchases are eligible for the Nestle rebate. Tasters Choice is a Nestle product.

@marvomatic Put the bag with meat into a deep pan of water then use the straw. The water pressure will force out air up to the water line. Less sucking. 🙂

I freeze a lot of stuff so I use a FoodSaver. Pitted and froze fresh cherries yesterday. Today I’m freezing onions because they sprout before I use up the bag. Tomorrow I’ll be making & freezing cat food.

@yoregano I have had My Points for 10+ years but rarely do anything with it. If I could do the deal I thought about Pennzoil for the MIR but dot com orders including BOPUS are excluded. I have no idea what I’d get at WM otherwise.

I did this rebate x 4 last time. Nestle ice cream products were excluded. I got DiGiorno pizza, CPK, Hot Pockets and Stouffer entrees at Rite Aid when there was an earn $10 BC wyb $40. The $40 is after coupons. IIRC, Fandango is the rebate processor.

I only have McDonald’s & eBay although IDK if I went through the whole list. I quit scrolling after I saw some merchants for the 3rd time.

I wonder how many of these stores used to be Rite Aids.

@mistercheap I don’t think they’re taking the stores; I think it’s the contents like the prescription meds and other stuff that doesn’t get clearanced.

As we can see from the lists, the MI & OH stores are closing. That’s ~300 stores if they all close. I saw the following but my brain doesn’t process legalese. Others interpreted it as meaning that Wags would buy the remaining inventory including the contents of the Pharmacies.

I won’t have any BC until BCC posts. I hope it posts in time for this sales week. My experience is that they can’t staff their pharmacies and that’s where they make their money. A large store closed the pharmacy section. Prior to that we had unpredictable pharmacy hours statewide. Stores were open but no one know if the pharmacy would be open. Understandably people moved their prescriptions to other pharmacies. When so many Walgreens locations have no pharmacist but other companies (including RA) don’t have that problem it’s a corporate issue.

I ordered K cups yesterday. $34.99 (90 ct) -$10/$30 =$24.99
Paid $24 with Rewards then 99¢ + sales tax.
Coffee (grocery item) isn’t a taxable item in my state but I was charged tax.
I don’t care about 6¢ but what if I had used real money?
Is this illegal?

Used to be able to place RA orders from Hong Kong and Vietnam but that changed.

@MrVietnam I thought it had more to do with the country you’re in than the website but my experience is limited to China.
I think TCB is British so you can buy from them because they are international vs. Big Lots is American and you might not be able to order directly from their site.

Anything is possible but the eQ’s are mq’s not store Q’s so P&G would have to issue another mq in the same month.
P&G Q’s usually come out once a month at the beginning of the month which is why I had the eQ earlier this week.
The eQ is available on many sites including Rite Aid, Wal-Mart (iBotta rebate), Dollar General, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Winn Dixie, CVS and Amazon to a varying degree. It’s a national promotion. The product has been available for awhile but people must not be buying it because of it’s price point.

The sale price at Shaw’s runs until Aug. 4.
What I think is more possible is that a new Dawn q will be in the 6/30 insert and expire in July.

Data Point:
I loaded the eQ on 4 Shaw’s accounts on Sunday. I used 1. The sales week ended last night. Today, the eQ was no longer loaded on the other 3 accounts but is available to load again. It isn’t available to load again on the account that used it.

I checked the P&G rebates. Dawn is included in the rebate that expires June 30 but not the later one.
So 7 @$2.99 (after Q’s) would qualify for the $5 back wyb $20. Net $15.93 for 7 makes them $2.27 ea.

The supermarket works out better for me because I don’t have Prime and I am shopping in NH where there’s no sales tax.
Interestingly the Lemon scent is Ultra Platinum vs other varieties are Platinum Plus. I have no idea what the difference is but I like lemon.
