TCB has other payment methods besides Paypal. There is an incentive to get your cash back in the form of a gift card. At the moment, you can get up to a 10% bonus for cashing out with a retailer gift card.

This is a “new members only” deal, right?
Yes, that is important to note. Would help if people would put this in the subject line. (It’s not always the case, sometimes these free-after-cash-back items are valid for existing accounts.)

Yes, stamps are still a good option, for when you need them. I don’t hardly mail anything anymore, except rebates, and even then that’s not very often.

RE: HOT! Buy $100 in Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes gift cards now through 12/24/17 and get THREE free meal passes (that is at least a $35 value when taking into account the dinner coupon price of $10.99 x 3 plus tax)posted in Expired Deals

Next year I will learn their marketing pitch and wait to buy the gift cards until they give 3 free meal passes.
If any are left come next year… there were several in IL that all closed within the last year or two. Looks like they are mostly a CA and FL chain now.

Blargh, can’t use my $10 ebay “gift card” I got when I bought a Google Home.
Yes, this asinine policy of not being able to use eBay GCs to buy other retailer gift cards is infuriating. It’s getting pretty close for me to give up eBay altogether.

This is somewhat of a consolation for those of us who lost a ton of points when cokerewards ended.
You sound as if you weren’t paying attention when the original MCR program ended. Nobody should have lost points; if by that you mean that you had a bunch of unredeemed points when the program ended. There was plenty of advance notice and opportunity to redeem points, and any unentered codes from caps and flaps still have potential use in the new Coke system.
Everyone here should make sure to follow the master Coke rewards thread: https://phatwalletforums.com/topic/645/coke-rewards-official-thread/44. There have been some good rewards lately if you were able to act upon them quickly, like $5 Amazon and Target GCs as well as contests to enter to potentially win prizes and movie tickets.

Pretty sure Target does not allow GCs to purchase GCs. I think using Discover is the best bet.

RE: Amex Plenti to lose several partners in 2018posted in Deal Discussion
The Hulu loss is disappointing for me, as it was pretty easy to get up to 600 points a month by watching 10 episodes of select shows in certain categories. I thought something must be up, as those offers stopped appearing months ago.
In the Chicago area, none of the grocery or drug stores that participate are located here, and most of the partners leaving are irrelevant to me anyway. Local dining is no big deal, there are several other programs that offer similar benefits, like Swaybacks. Mobil/Exxon is about the only place to both earn and redeem points for me. As long as that one partner remains, this program has some usefulness. But this mass dropping of partners is still not a good sign.
