No joy. Answered 100% of the profile questions and no $10 coupon. Lots of other discounts, though.

@ctgolfer Just cashed in at the store for a $5 coupon. The signs are not very large, so you have to look for them. Cashier did not know the promotion was going on, nor did an assistant manager. Was able to send a text message to the number on the sign along with the code, got a text back with a link to a coupon, and the $5 coupon was accepted at the register.
@ctgolfer Have to hold the bonds for at least one year plus 3 months to get the full interest rate:
"I bonds earn interest for 30 years unless you cash them first. You can cash them after one year. But if you cash them before five years, you lose the previous three months of interest. (For example, if you cash an I bond after 18 months, you get the first 15 months of interest.) "
Rate adjusts twice a year, I believe. I also believe you can invest $10 every year.

Full disclosure - I bought this investment last month.

@ctgolfer - too late!
“Oh no! Looks like you weren’t quick enough and the bus left without you. Watch Monday Night Football next week for another chance to score FREE SKITTLES® singles pack. And be sure to claim your bag right away!”
@orthros I agree with your premise, but how often do you need those services? @studentsavings probably won’t need those services and if he does, he can open an account or join a credit union. Maybe even check credit unions for savings or interest-checking rates?
FWIW, as long as the bank is FDIC insured, the risk is relatively low. The bigger trend, though, is that the online banks offer teaser rates for a fixed period of time and then drops the bottom out of the interest the account pays. To keep the returns up, you have to keep switching banks.

With all of the online banking and social media these days, it would take me over 20 years to use up 100 stamps…

I got a $7.59 Amazon gift card. Not a bad settlement for a bit of work.

Be sure to scroll down to the entry that says, “A free gift for you. Sign up now and enjoy Rituals #1 foaming shower sensation.” That’s where the Sign Up for the free gift is located. The other Sign Up on the page is just to get their newsletter.
Got the $25 credit in my account today but can’t access the $25 until mid-January.

@my4mainecoons said in Apple iPad 9.7 Inch 32GB Wi-Fi Only (Latest 2018 Model, 6th Gen), Silver or Space Gray $229 + FS @ Amazon.com:
I got an Amazon Fire for $20 on Prime Day. Other than not doing iBotta its been fine. Could someone please explain why iPads are so much more expensive? Do they do that much more than any other tablet?
For casual users, a Fire is sufficient. With the iPads you pay for a much higher resolution screen and more powerful processor which helps with advanced video games and other power-hungry apps that I don’t think you use. Also, I don’t think iOS devices have had memory card slots for years, unlike most Android devices do, so you’d quickly fill up what the OS leaves free of that 32GB and your iPad would be extremely slow/unusable… but it’s OK if you don’t plan to download much to it.
You do have to manage your space, but with online storage, especially Google Drive, your files/pics/music are pretty much available as long as you have an internet connection. Now that I’ve had this iPad for almost two weeks, I will say that the screen resolution is a bit disappointing, but the speed is great!
Dead.

Takes you to a Google Docs page for the order form. Questionable, in my humble opinion.
Transaction went through. Let’s see if the product shows up.
Thanks, MrsGuin!

@fmb1 SO… the 27,000 codes list does work, but there have to be titles that match the code. Many of the codes returned an empty list for me, but some did work.
“Vampire TV Sci-Fi and Fantasy” worked, but “Violent Time Travel Sci-Fi & Fantasy” had no matching titles.
