  • Discover Cashback is 5% this quarter

  • 500 Club

It’s back! I do this every year since I stop by Target almost on a weekly basis. You can also order $300 online then stop by store to get $300.

  • can i buy wireless refill cards with them?

  • 500 Club

I used to buy Tmobile card with them when they carried the $10 refills. Not sure if that’s still the case.

  • Put 3 e-gift cards in my shopping cart last night, in anticipation of today’s sale (waited until the end of the day last year to make my online purchase, and the e-card selection was very limited).

Went to purchase them at midnight PT (figuring that, since Target ends promos at that time, Target likely also starts promos at that time), only to discover that 2 of the 3 e-gift cards are already no longer available. What??? 😲

How do e-gift cards run out of stock??? 🤯

If you’re planning on buying a lot of cards, it might be a good idea to mix up the CC’s that you’re using and keep your receipts. A year or two ago, the heavy hitters were getting their cards drained. I’m guessing the CC# was how Target was identifying bulk purchasers. I tried doing 2 transactions at one store and the cashier wouldn’t let me get a second card — other cashiers didn’t care, so YMMV. Self-checkout is your friend. Might not be a bad idea to get some other items to mix in with the GC’s, if you’re doing multiple transactions at the same store.
