Thanks. I was wondering if they would still have this offer. At least Staples is still doing the recycling with the printable labels on their website. I boxed up 20 a few days ago, then dropped them at our Staples since I had to be in town for groceries. I wrote on the label “20 ink cartridges for recycling” on the label that I used on the box, which I hope will allow the Staples processor to just credit my cartridges without having to open the box and handle them. I wore a mask, went to the UPS station, was told they are not allowed to handle any packages and to drop the box in the bin myself, which was fine with me, and the UPS driver would be scanning in all packages and envelopes in the bin before putting them on the truck. I did make a copy of the label I used for my records and wrote down the date I dropped the box in the Staples bin.

Thanks, MC. I noticed this 100% back offer early this morning, but not that appealing to me now that the ink recycling has been suspended. Not to mention I already have about $1,550 in Forever stamps from these 100% back offers. I used individual Forever stamps to pay the postage when I mail packages. (I better hope the Post Office doesn’t go bankrupt like I have been seeing lately in the news. I highly doubt the government would allow them to go bankrupt. I think Trump favors loans rather than a bailout for them.)

Ink recycling has been suspended for at least a week now already. I wonder what these optimum batteries are? Probably have a long life? I might try them if I didn’t have about 15 packs of the regular batteries sitting in my garage from past 100% back deals.

EDIT: Here’s a little more on what the Duracell Optimum line offers:

Duracell’s most groundbreaking innovation yet. The all new Duracell Optimum alkaline battery has a new cathode system that can give your device Extra Life*—like remotes that run longer—or Extra Power*—like brighter flashlights. Optimum Batteries are packaged in a new slider pack with a resealable storage tray, that provides a more organized way to store your batteries (no more loose batteries everywhere!). Duracell is the #1 trusted battery brand, and we’re proud to offer you Duracell Optimum 1.5-Volt Alkaline AA batteries as part of Duracell’s trusted lineup of batteries. *Extra Life or Extra Power vs. Coppertop AA in a wide range of devices

If you are looking for the longest lasting AA battery, it looks like Energizer Lithium golds a Guinness World Record for that:

    Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™
Energizer® Ultimate Lithium™ AA Battery now holds the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title - for the Longest-Lasting AA battery.

according to my store, they are going to re-evaluate it on 4/19. current suspension is from 4/6-20.

  • I didn’t even know OD suspended the recycling. Without ink recycling i wouldn’t buy anything from them.
