I just placed my $40 Amazon e-gift card order and got my gift card and applied it to my account already? When will I be receiving the $10 promotional one and when does it expire?

OK. I found an answer to at least one of my questions (now just to find out when the promotional gift card will expired):
You will receive $10 promotional credit to your account two days after your qualifying Amazon.com Gift Cards purchase.

OK. I found an answer to at least one of my questions (now just to find out when the promotional gift card will expired):
You will receive $10 promotional credit to your account two days after your qualifying Amazon.com Gift Cards purchase.
Looks like I got an answer for part 2 of my question:
This limited time offer and associated promotional code expire at 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) June 22, 2021 or when supplies have been exhausted, whichever occurs first. Any promotional credit remaining unredeemed after August 7, 2021 11:59:59 p.m. (PT) will be forfeited.

Some Amex cards have $10 back for $50 Amazon purchase, which can be combined with this one.

@c3 I had it on 2 out of my 3 Amex cards. Warning though - it only lets you add it to one, then nixes it on all the others.

I did not get the Amazon Am Ex offer on any of my Am Ex cards unfortunately.

DOC says that the promo email is sent out around 24 hours after the purchase. I still have a few hours left before getting mine.

Not working for me.
Edit: I take it back. Worked for me on 2 account so far, but not in the app. Kept telling me the code couldn’t be applied. On the desktop I saw the message saying I will get the discount.

I got the Amex confirmation pretty quickly. “24 hours” is for the Amazon promo GC, which I just received and used:
