typically works on plastic gift cards, that’s how I’ve used it before.

Goof idea, MC. I have a ton of banked Amazon gift cards. I think I will get $100 Albertsons gift card for $85, but in reality that will only be a 9% discount because the opportunity cost is losing the 6% I would have got by buying the groceries with my Am Ex Blue Preferred Card.

@mrvietnam Then why not buy an Amazon gc? You can use the Amazon gc to buy an Albertson’s gc or any other gc they carry. I might get a gas gc.
