Also, back to the topic and I mentioned this in another thread, Starbucks is still similar in points to the old Dunkin Donuts program - if you use a reusable cup. 25 points for a reusable cup each time, double points for each dollar if you use a Starbucks card/gift card/rewards program. Stack with their email offers and it goes down to about one free drink every 3 purchases.

That may be, but I’m just not a fan of Starbucks, let’s hope the bad press and upset customers will be enough for Dunkin’ to rethink their program. If sales drop off, I’m sure that will persuade them like nothing else.

Here’s to hoping. Dunkin has a bigger presence in your area. Starbucks is ubiquitous here, I know of one medium-sized shopping plaza that has a standalone Starbucks, another Starbucks inside the Ralph’s (Kroger) grocery store, and another Starbucks inside the Target.
In that plaza, one could walk to three different Starbucks in 2 or 3 minutes.

I’m mixed. They totally did away with the free birthday drink and replaced it with 3x points for 3 days around your bday, which is crap, given a large iced latte now is 700 points to a free one. Yes, some of the monthly offers are good, especially when they are good ALL MONTH versus a one time use deal.
My other big gripe versus the old format is the 100 points order ahead bonus on Monday. Previously 100 points was worth A LOT MORE, think two or three 100 points on Monday and I had a free drink earned. Now I could order every single Monday ahead in a 4 week month and still not have enough for a free iced coffee when before I could get a free Large Latte for redeeming 2 or 3 weeks worth of Monday points. They should have upped the Monday bonus to 200 given they doubled the points from 5 to 10 per dollar spent.
