Need a new rice cooker
-
So my rice cooker pot has developed some rust and a new one is like $80, so I’m thinking it’s time for a new rice cooker.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09N9Z22Z6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
It has a coupon so net price is $555.74. After 5% CB from Visa CC it’s $528
Kohls also has it on sale right now with 25% off coupon
$591.36 after 25% off, but you also get $110 in Kohls cash, so if I value that as cash it comes out to $481.36
Any better deals to be had out there? Willing to consider a lower model for a great deal.

Will this do?

That’s basically the model that we had, and it’s cheaper at KOHLS. It’s my second choice if I can’t find a great deal on the other one. (Or maybe the cheaper pressure cooked option).
$285 minus $50 in KC
Mostly just wondering if there are some Kohls tricks. I don’t normally shop Kohls, but I know there are some big deals that pop up every so often. Willing to wait a bit.

Would you consider FB Marketplace?

Buy/spend discounted Kohl’s GC via a high paying portal.

Go to the manufacturer’s website first and see if they sell replacement liners. It would be a lot cheaper than buying an entire new unit. If you don’t mind used, you may also be able to find the liner on eBay with a little luck.

Not sure what a liner is, but I did look for a pot on the manufacturer’s website and that was a thing that was $80.
I ended up applying to Kohls card and buying the one I originally linked. Had a hell of a time trying to check out - they only allow four gift cards and I already had one in my online wallet - so it wasn’t letting me put in four $100 GCs. Ended up talking to a supervisor who suggested I do guest checkout. Too bad I wasn’t able to use all $500 in GCs but I guess I’ll figure out a way to use them later.
One of the reps, after unsuccessfully guiding me through options that simply don’t exist (such as editing or deleting the gift card) was basically like: “What do you want me to do?” to which my response was “Your job. If you can’t figure out how to do what I’m asking, transfer me to a supervisor”.

https://www.giftcardwiki.com/gift-cards/Kohl’sThanks, I’ve never used one of those before, plus I had enough points from the credit cards to get the gift cards there.

$400+ really! I saw one at Costco yesterday for $80. Worth a try since you can return if you are not satisfied.
