My flip phone & I don’t know how to text.If I find a friend with a smart phone how does it work, do they have to put their phone # on my acct then text? Then after I get the FC can we remove their phone number from my acct so they don’t get spammed?

If I’m understanding this correctly, @my4mainecoons, the text message is merely a one-time requirement to get a code that you can enter online into your Shop Your Way Rewards account, in order to get the $15 in points…there should be no need to associate the phone number with your SYWR account…
Disclaimer: I’ve not participated in a text message promo with my SYWR account before, only with in-store deals at Target, like $10 off $50 groceries, or $10 off $50 Gift Wrapping Supplies, etc., but that’s how it was with Target…

I got my $10 in Freecash from texting “THANKS” to 56278 (kmart) today, good in store only. I didn’t try the Sears one, as it’s too far to go to a store.

Definitely YYMV, for sure. I did this when it was first posted, but after jumping thru a couple of fairly painless hoops to update my phone number at SYW dot com, they finally sent me something back the next day, which was $10 / $25. Not $15 for sure.

I just texted “turkey” and “gravy” to 73277 and got both offers right away. Turkey is $15 in store points and gravy is $60 off $500 in store. Not going to be near a store but wanted to see if I got it. Maybe y’all should try again. You get 2 texts, reply with “y” and the second text is a link to the offer. Or maybe they know I can’t use it so they gave it to me.

Thanks. I emailed info@shopyoureay.com and included a screenshot from my phone and several hours later I got an email back saying they would give me $10 in points to make up for the $10 in FREECASH that didn’t post properly. Worked out great. Would rather have the points anyway.
