Not crystal clear, but the terms do mention a limit of 3 per merchant per month (no mention of if that includes 3 on the same offer though). I guess you could try on something that is returnable so you have plenty of time to figure out if RMN is tracking/authorized CB on that order:
Cash Back Rewards And Wallet Terms
“Number of Rewards Offers per Person” means (a) for Online Cash Back Rewards, a limit of 10 Rewards Offers in the aggregate under all RetailMeNot Promotions in any calendar month and a limit of three Rewards per Merchant in any calendar month and (b) for In-store Cash Back Rewards, a limit of 5 Rewards Offers in the aggregate under all RetailMeNot Promotions in any rolling 30-day period, unless otherwise specified in the Promotion Landing Page.

Yes, as a RetailMeNot customer you are eligible to redeem up to a total of 10 Cash Back Rewards per calendar month, which within those 10 you can do up to 3 Cash Back Rewards per merchant in the same calendar month (not exceeding the total of 10 per customer).
Monthly totals and limits exclude Cash Back on Gift Card Purchases.

@fivetalents I did a Kohls Christmas offer x 3 on Nov. 19 and received the cash back for each one. I activated a Staples RMN offer last week but didn’t make a purchase. I’m hoping that doesn’t count since I didn’t redeem it.

So what are you guys buying for $30?

easy! ink $30 pre tax to qualify for the next 6 months of ink recycle. I was actually due, so this came along at a perfect time. saving me $15 off what I had to spend anyway.

Is the cashback good for ordering online for store pickup?

Good idea, MC.

@mistercheap Suppose I recycle 10 empties every month for the 6. Does the Staples $120 credit expire?

The rewards are issued monthly, around the 13th of the month, and expire 45 days later on the last day of the following month (ie, rewards show up on Feb 13th, valid to 3/31).
However, of late, some stores are accepting expired rewards as long as they were never redeemed. YMMV and ask your store manager what their policy is on that.
So yes, if you ordered $30 pre tax in ink today, you’d have ink recycle for SEVEN MONTHS as long as you recycled in July by 7/13. (Jan, Feb, March, April, May, June, July) $140 in rewards total for $30ish spend today.

OT related development.
One of my RMN orders included 2 Mead 5 Star notebooks as filler because there are 2 separate SavingStar rebates for buying 2 Mead 5 Star notebooks. My eReceipt shows 2 Mead notebooks but what the store gave me was 2 Staples Acell Durable Cover notebooks. When I tried to enter the UPC’s, they were not in the S* data base. Called Staples Corporate. Its the same SKU for both the Mead brand and the Staples brand. Its not the store’s fault, they don’t have the Mead brand. They pulled the correct SKU. So they’re shipping 2 more notebooks that hopefully will be Mead brand and I’ll be able to submit for S*.If I again receive Staples Accel brand (which is cheaper than Mead 5 Star) I can return them and get my money back but more to the point, isn’t it illegal to advertise a product and ship a less expensive substitute? If not for trying to enter UPC on S* I wouldn’t have known about the substitution.
