Great timing. I will buy a $10 pack of batteries to meet my $10 spend needed for September ink recycling.
Too bad there is no way to monetize Office Depot rewards.

sometimes there is, like we saw with the Bic Pen rebate recently. also, if you want to invest the time, you can resell good deals you’ve gotten there to monetize, sometimes even make money. I’ve done it with breakroom/paper goods at my garage sale.
Also, black friday is 2 months away, always good things to spend them on at that time.

Buy forever stamps with OD Rewards.
Wait for the USPS price hike.
Sell on Ebay/CL/FB.

There seems to be only 4 packages of Duracell batteries that count for 100% back in rewards this time around:
16-Pack of Duracell Coppertop Alkaline Batteries (AA)$19.39 ($17.45 w/ subscription discount)
In Store Price $16.3916-Pack of Duracell Coppertop Alkaline Batteries (AAA) $19.39 ($17.45 w/ subscription discount)
In Store Price $16.894-Pack of Duracell Coppertop Alkaline Batteries © $10.49 ($9.44 w/ subscription discount)
In Store Price $10.494-Pack of Duracell Coppertop Alkaline Batteries (D) $12.79 ($11.51 w/ subscription discount)
In Store Price $10.49It looks like Retailmenot once again has the best cash back rate for Office Depot. RMN is at 7% while Topcashback is only 4%.
There is also a 20% off highest item in cart coupon that you could use to bring down sales tax a few pennies and reduce the amount of rewards you will have to spend later: 36098962
And here is another code for 20% off your qualifying regular priced purchase: 63192649
I had made an in store purchase earlier in the month for $1.80, so I got a $10.49 package of Duracell C batteries which were $8.39 after 20% off code with free two day delivery, making my monthly spend $10.19 so I will qualify for September ink rewards. Not to mention in 45 days I should make 59 cents cash back, which will cover a good chunk of the sales tax. Thanks , OP.

Sell on Ebay/CL/FB.Great idea. I already have about $1,400 in stamps. I guess it is time to make an eBay listing.
I have never sold anything on eBay before. I guess you would need to insure the package of stamps in case they claim they never received it, right? Are there any incentives for new eBay sellers? Maybe I could start selling first just by word of mouth, selling to family and friends at a discounted price. I guess I could always leave them to my children on my will. They would be nice antiques to talk about with their children.

@mrvietnam If you have the knack, you could sell them to folks in the parking lot of a large suburban USPS.

Maybe I could sell them to the police too who would be coming in to make an arrest. Help pay for the bail.

@mrvietnam lol
-
@mrvietnam I’ve done deals there without arrest. YMMV.

Click the "Sell’ link at the top of the eBay homepage. Scroll down to “Promotional Offers” (also check your inbox offers). I’ve never sold anything on eBay and I currently have an offer to “List 50 of your items for FREE… Pay no insertion fees for auction-style or fixed price listings. Buy It Now is free too. Expires Oct 1, 2019 at 12:00AM PDT”

I bought the 16 pack on Sunday but the onliine page didn’t show the “100% rewards” offer even though the SKU item # matched the weekly ad. I doubled checked with the store employee when I picked up the order and he said it was the right SKU and the in-store signage had the SKU also. I still haven’t had my rewards credited to my account and they usually come the next day after purchase. Has anyone received their rewards yet?
