Firstly the q beeps.
Secondly there are reports that it doesn’t work when checked w/ the S* app.
I bought the one on the shelf and if it doesn’t clear for the $10 I’ll be contacting S* who will then hopefully fix it for people buying later in the month.

@briarycliffs Everything is beeping at RA lately, insert q’s especially. Peelies attached to their products. All the Pfizer ips. I bought 7 things tonight and every single coupon beeped “no matching item” and they were for exact item purchased, including a peelie on a bottle of Robitussin.
The only thing that’s been scanning w/o beeping is the Schick q’s that give overage, go figure.
OTH, as long as your store doesn’t mind manually entering things, you’ll DD because L2c for different values attach just fine.

There are many different types of meters, even in the same brand.

@mistercheap Its the Contour Next One that’s on sale. I think the manufacturer name changed. It used to be called Bayer Contour and in the insert its called the Ascensia Contour Next.
This is the one I got. The box looks exactly like the one in the RP insert and on S*.

It will be interesting to see if anyone is automatically credited the Savingstar offer or you have to fight for it. I think I will wait until the dust settles before purchasing.
I did not get an 11/5 RP insert either, but I printed two couoons from redplum.com, one for each of my Savingstar accounts linked to my two Plenti cards. I wonder if a Rite Aid cashier will balk at pushing through a $10 printable coupon that beeps. I know in the past they used to have a $5 limit for printable coupons at Rite Aid, but I think they did away with that rule some time ago. I think if I get this I will buy it with other things I get at Black Friday that way making it not so conspicuous.

Any word on for those who purchased this a couple days ago did you automatically get credit to your Ssavingstar account? If after two days it doesn’t automatically post, it is doubtful it ever will.
EDIT: I see Maine posted this just a day ago, so we may have to wait one more day to see if anyone gets automatically credited.

@mrvietnam I purchased Saturday PM. Monday I received credit for other items in transaction but not the meter. emailed S*. Today received email that they didn’t know why meter hadn’t counted and they were crediting my account. Now it appears that the UPC I purchased is counting according to the app. I like to think that it was my early adoption and messaging S* that got it fixed.

Great news, Maine. Thanks for the update. Now the only roadblock will be getting the store to manually enter a beeping $10 printable coupon. I guess if one store refuses then I could always try another store. I hope stock doesn’t become an issue also.
I have not contacted Savingstar customer service for several months, but I must say I am pleasantly surprised at the quickness of their support reply. I remember in the past it would take at least a week to hear back from them. It was quite aggravating.

Got my Q’s today that I bought from Flea Market, yes they beeped, but one store seems to think they beeped due to the price being $9.99, and I let them modify it, easy to be done with it.

Bought one today, coupon beeped, manually inputted. S* app wouldn’t take the upc, though. Will wait to see if it goes through.

Some conflicting posts here @my4mainecoons says the UPC is showing good on the SStar APP and @briarycliffs says it isn’t. Perhaps posting the UPC in question would be good so we can compare notes from both posters. thnx.

Happy to report! got the SStar credit in less than 12 hours from the Rite Aid purchase. no issues at all.

the issue isn’t the $9.99 price and $10 coupon, nor is it ip vs insert q. It just beeps as does just about everything at RA these days.
Did you have filler to cover the penny?
Another way – and better cash out, is to have them do a post-coupon.
I’ll be buying meter ($10q beeps), Nicorette ($10 mq beeps) and Schick razors. $20 is a lot to override. I’ll have them post q $20.
if you have q’s you won’t use I could use 4 more.

if you have q’s you won’t use I could use 4 more.@my4mainecoons I know that, but that was the manager’s reasoning. wouldn’t have mattered if I had other items or not, because she modified to $9.99 based on the beeping. Believe me, not crying over losing out over 1c. This was a huge MM for me, about $18 after the cost of the Q’s on two S Star accounts.

@fivetalents IDK. I received notice that it was moved to Expired so I posted the real expiration date. Notification said you moved it. The sale price is valid until Dec. 4 and S* until Dec. 5. The ip may be NLA but there’s still the insert coupon and an IP being NLA doesn’t mean a deal is expired.

@my4mainecoons I remember now. I was going through the grocery and drugstore forum this morning to clean out expired deals and didn’t see any claim by dates for the coupons in your OP. Due to the “HURRY!!!” in the title, no links to the coupons, this thread being over 2 weeks old (and coupons usually not being available that long), I decided the deal must have ended by now. If this is no longer a $10 MM as posted, the deal is because no one just seeing this thread for the first time can get $20 back on a $10 purchase. If you want to edit your title to accurately reflect the current offer, I’m move it back to G&D forum.
