Paying in rewards you won’t get the 20/25% rewards. Also, I’ve never gotten any cash back from any portal when paying with rewards because the purchase total always showing as 0 (cuz rewards were treated as coupon). Hate that!

True and I know that, but you have to spend the rewards on something and I already have $1,550 in postage stamps so that’s not an option. I try to look for things to spend the rewards on that have a good price and something I could actually use.

That’s not my experience with OD, through Topcashback and Retailmenot. No difference paying with rewards or new money.
