There are also $1.50/1 any Pepcid product L5 rebates on Ibotta.
You can also save an extra 40 cents by buying one RR 12.99 box (with Gold) and a $9.99 bottle, which is on sale, instead of buying two boxes. The bottles also count for both BC and the $10 rebate.

no gold discount on the $9.99 bottle? the wife actually uses this stuff, so didn’t mind the extra 40 cents for the bigger size box.
-
Submitted the rebate last night, within an hour is was approved and already got my $10 virtual visa. there are other options besides the visa (Vudu, Fandango, Store GC’s, etc)

Hey, MC. I submitted my receipt over a day ago now and have not heard squat back. Who is the sender of the e-mail so I can search for it? I will give it some more time, but by the end of the week if I do not get the promised $10 rewards card back the Pepcid goes.

I searched my e-mails and found this in today’s junk mail folder:
Dear MrVietnam,
We’re sorry to let you know that the image of your receipt that you submitted could not be accepted. We were unable to verify the image as a valid receipt. Make sure to take the picture of your receipt with ample lighting showing your entire receipt with qualifying purchase and resubmit it by 10/31/2021.
Please see tips below:
Take the picture in portrait orientation to ensure the best resolution on the image
Try to keep lighting consistent and balanced avoiding close camera flashes which may cause glare upon the image
If taking the image in dark lighting without a flash try to hold the camera still to avoid motion blur on the image
Try to keep all of the receipt within the frame avoiding cutting out parts of the receipt within the image
Make sure the entire receipt is visible and ensure key data is visible, including store name, location, purchase date, products, and transaction id
Place receipt on flat surface and avoid white backgrounds where possible
Take the picture directly over the receipt where possible, avoiding as much perspective distortion as possibleThank you.
Submission Confirmation Number: xxxxxxxxxxxx
It is really strange how I got this e-mail. My receipt had dark printing and I scanned the receipt on my printer, so they should have received an immaculate copy. I am not sure why they can’t can’t validate the image as a valid receipt. I rescanned the receipt and sent it in. I’ll see if they can accept the latest scan. If not I will have to call their customer service and inquire. I hope my coupon use will not pose a problem if I have to talk to a real person about it.

@MrVietnam this is a typical Fandango rebate rejection. I don’t do Fandango rebates any more because of this. They don’t accept scans, they only want photos and then they reject because of the quality of the image. You can only email them and while in the past they responded promptly to service requests more recently service has been quite poor.

I never heard back about the Listerine rebate until after I filed a BBB complaint.

Thanks for the HU, Maine. I had no clue they don’t accept scans. Is that in writing in their term and conditions anywhere? Once I get the latest rejection for scanning, I will take a photo and if they don’t take that either Saturday I will return the Pepcid to the store and be done with it.
-
@mrvietnam look at the accepted formats for receipt image. I believe pdf is not accepted.

I uploaded a JPEG of the receipt. Fastest turnaround ever on one of these JnJ rebates. If the IB resets, will do it again since the limit is 3 on the rebates.

I finally got my first $10 rewards card. The trick was to take a picture of the receipt and not scan it. Thanks, Maine.
