Thanks for the HU. The Subway I usually do these BOGO deals is not participating this time around, but I found another local Subway that is.
Expiration date is when?

Subway’s online ordering system is all screwed up. A couple days ago (on December 29) I placed two online orders using the coupon code. When I went to the Subway to pick up my sandwiches they said they had not yet received the order, so I looked at my confirmation e-mails and they said that my order date and pick up date were actually the next day, 12/30/21. So on 12/29 they claimed I actually placed the order on 12/30! Go figure. I found no way to cancel orders online or via the app, so I was at the mercy of the store manager. He said he would void the orders but he couldn’t do it until 12/30. Yesterday night he did end up voiding the orders, but to date the funds have not yet been returned to my Subway gift card.
I have ordered many times online and via the app previously and this has never happened before (about how the system claims you are ordering the next day).
When I re-ordered online, the order date and pick up date showed up correctly as 12/29 for the new orders. Actually there is no way to order or set a pick up date on subway.com for a future day. You can change the pick up time, but not the day. Also, there is no way to cancel an order.
I tried to contact Subway corporate customer service, but soon realized that Subway corporate customer service is all online and done through exchanging e-mails. Impossible to talk to a real person to get quick action. I sent them an e-mail yesterday morning and now a day later have yet to hear back.
To make matters worse, the Subway I went to had me waiting about 19 minutes after the time the computer said my orders would be ready. Not happy with Subway lately (however the actual sandwiches tasted good).
I hope I eventually get the voided transaction amounts credited back to my gift card. If I would have paid with a credit card I could have disputed the transactions, but now I have no recourse and their customer service is pitiful. Hopefully, the funds will come back in the next day or two. If not I will contact the store manager yet again.
