@mrvietnam Are there separate UPC for each flavor or are they just going to have stock during those hours? I don’t like either flavor. What’s to keep one from putting a different variety in the bag and using SCO.

Your conscience?
I wonder why they don’t let you choose any bakery donut and why they limit the times? A little strange.
-
@mrvietnam I think the times are related to stocking the shelf. I think the flavor is so they can focus on stocking those 2 and not every variety. My conscience is fine and I’m sure my stores wouldn’t have an issue with substitution since they substitute when they run out of other Saturday Samplers. I don’t like icing, chocolate or sugary things, lol. I’m only interested if I can find a plain donut or substitute a bagel.

At my Safeway, there is only one code for bulk donuts (5604). I chose a custard-filled chocolate covered donut and used the bulk code. The donut was free.

And I’ll bet your conscience isn’t bothering you. 😄

@my4mainecoons Seems like a lot of soul searching for a donut.
-
@sonofzeus I wasn’t soul searching until MrV said I should. Took no time 😊. I was going to get a bag, put 6 donuts in it then ring up each one individually at the SCO.

Nope. The donut I chose was the same price as all the other donuts. (I wouldn’t have chosen a danish cause those are higher priced.)

Like Kimi said, since all the bulk donuts are rung up using the same code number, it really doesn’t matter what donut you get as long as it is one of the lower-priced ones. I think the regular retail of the lower-priced ones in my area is $1.19 each.
