There is a similar offer for mypoints. Also, printables at smartsource.com, at least there were a couple days ago. I imagine you can do both deals, since they only require a photo of receipt. I don’t belong to swagbucks, so can’t test.

Yes, Prodege, the owner of Swagbucks bought MyPoints a year or so ago, and since then both sites are starting to look more and more alike with MyPoints inheriting a lot of Swagbucks offers and activities.
However, the redemption rates on MyPoints are horrendous. For example, a $50 Amazon GC on Swagbucks costs 5,000 SBs, while it costs 7,940 points on MyPoints. The more desirable the merchant is, the more MyPoints charges for their GC. For example, a $50 Banana Republic GC costs 7,040 points but a $50 prepaid Visa costs 8,020 points on MyPoints, while all GCs on Swagbucks costs $0.01 = 1 SB (with rare exception for a few things that are always deeply discounted like magazine subscriptions or Restaurant-dot-com GCs).
Swagbucks used to be skewed as well (not having great rates and charging more for premium merchants), until Prodege bought them. So I stopped redeeming points when Prodege bought MyPoints hoping that they’d do the same revamping of the points system.
Fortunately, for this offer, they are offering enough points to make everything equivalents between the two sites: 500 SB = 790 MyPoints = $5, and 1,000 SB = 1,590 MyPoints = $10 for an Amazon GC and many of the more desirable GCs. So you might even do better on MyPoints in this case if you redeem for a cheaper/less desirable GC, but most of the time, that’s not the case and identical offers (and surveys, or videos, etc.) offer the exact same number of points and bucks.
TLDR: always be careful with MyPoint offers:
- Make sure that they offer enough extra points to make up for poor redemption rates
- Be careful what you redeem for as you’ll get poor value if you would have been happy with a GC from a “lesser” merchant
- If you don’t need to cash out, consider waiting as Prodege is bringing more and more Swagbucks activities to MyPoints, and may revamp the points system to match Swagbuck’s more generous rates.

I’ve never used ibotta. Will it stack with this? By that I mean Is it an instant rebate (which may get your receipt rejected) or a mail in rebate? It would be sweet if you could stack the bucks/points, with the $2 rebate and smartsource coupon. TIA.

Bummer on Discover. Avatar didn’t want to cooperate on my iPad Air 2, gotta drag out the laptop… lazy… it kept sensing the header pic change. I have to write some pleadings soon, I’ll do it then etc… TY for the instructions tho.

Ibotta is super easy and pays within the hour, usually, but there is a $20 minimum payout. There is usually quite a few free things on Ibotta to make that minimum payout very quickly. The TGIF mashed potatoes are $1.28 and the rebate is $1.50. I have gotten 4 free Chobani yogurts in the last couple of weeks. Let me know if you want to join under my referral, do we have a referral thread?
Everything should stack. Ibotta you just have to scan the QR code on the receipt, plus the upcs of the product. I’ll try tomorrow if I don’t forget.

I finally did the mypoints/Ibotta deal yesterday. Bought 3 packs @ $3.47 each, used 2 50¢ coupons, got $2 back from Ibotta, got 1350 mypoints. A little moneymaker and some free batteries.
