You do not use your minutes for Ibotta and can use only wi-fi. You can load the rebates you want at home and then return home to upload the receipt. I do sometimes turn on my data at the store because I forget what’s on my rebate list and the store’s wi-fi doesn’t usually work. It’s nice to have data in a rebate emergency.

You are right, the price did go up. The only problem is 8 gb is not very much room if you load up a lot of apps. I do like my apps. It’s a great little phone though. If you want to get in the smartphone arena the cheapest, buy the rebel 2 on ebay, it will last you for awhile until the service is almost up, then upgrade the phone next year. Or maybe HSN will have the rebel 3 on sale again in a few weeks.

Yes you could get rid of your flip phone and $14/month service. Tracfone runs on Verizon or AT&T towers, usually has great coverage. You can pay $59.99 at HSN, get a decent phone, a year of service that comes with 1,500 minutes, 1,500 texts, and 1.5g of data (turn off the data and only use it for emergencies). You can buy more minutes/texts/data if you need. That would be cheaper for you than $14 month you are paying right now. I would recommend this service for light users and it’s what I use. When your year of service is up, it’s cheaper to buy another phone with service and minutes included than to just buy a year of service.

Alternatively, you can buy a smart phone without a service plan from a local store or online, and just use it as a mini tablet. You can load apps and such on it, just can’t use it as a phone. You can also ask relatives or friends to give you their old phone and just use it on wi-fi and load apps without paying for a phone service.

There is a Tracfone LG Rebel 3 on HSN for $59, includes a year of service and 1500/1500/1.5g. That is what I use. It’s easier for me to buy a new phone, than find a used smart phone that may or may not work. You can also buy a really cheap smart phone at Dollar General or Kroger’s. Most any will do and you don’t have to buy the service.

There are $5 rebates on Ibotta for Mobil 1 & Mobil 1 High Mileage 5 quart jugs.

Craftsman is a junk brand now, owned by Black & Decker. Lowe’s should stick with Kobalt, they look and feel better than the “new” craftsman. Still have my grandfather’s craftsman tools, now those are good.

Checkout 51 has a $4 rebate on them, as well as SavingStar. I finally found them today, can’t say they look very appealing. Think cheetos but instead of cheese, it’s peanut butter or peanut butter and chocolate.

BTW, the Easter candy deal in store at my local Kmart was still $5 in points on a $5 purchase, expires 3/31/18. I don’t know if it counts as a new deal or they just extended the last one. I picked up my 4th purchase, but didn’t want to try any more.

Just activated it via chat switching my old rebel with this one. Everything went smoothly. This phone came with 1 year service + 1500 minutes, 1500 texts and 1GB data. I did get triple minutes (4,500 minutes, 4,500 texts, and 4.5 gb data) when I activated this phone today. I heard through other forums that this was happening, but since the rebel was my first tracfone, and it didn’t have TMFL on it, I didn’t think I would get them.

Heard that TMFL is applying to the Rebel 3 also, which I almost bought. Bought this one for the 13mp camera. I must say it’s a lot bigger than the rebel, which is a - for me. I like the fact it has nougat. If you are looking for a deal on a tracfone, either of these phones is worth it.

There are also 2 spend $40 get back $40 in points from Sears marketplace sellers, one “bestselling” and the other “homesquare”. Both look like cheap junk marked up, but maybe someone wants to try.

I didn’t get as near as good offers as you, but am having a hard time keeping up with the offers I did get. I just used the grocery $5, now getting the Easter candy x3 after a disastrous trip in store, still have $5, $11, $6 in store, plus the points from the $20/$20 deal to use. Mine was a $7/$15 lawn & garden. Guess I will go look at pots or soil tomorrow when I pick up my online orders.

That I do not know. I think so. They showed up on the receipt as bonus points earned and increased my total. Bought a cat litter box at the store, got my $25 in points (well it said I would get them in the morning). Still haven’t received the points from the first order that I picked up on Monday. There was a lady there picking up about 60 online orders, that is a bit excessive especially since the store only has 2 cashiers. I hated to even tell the cashier I had 2 orders to pick up. They have to enter a name or phone number for each order.

They are having issues, but will they fix them in time and correct all the past orders without having to email and/or return & rebuy. Well that didn’t go as planned. Picked up my 2 cat litters along with 2 other previous orders. Picked up a $5 sweatshirt and used $5 apparel freecash, picked up $6 ice blanket and $5 sporting goods came off like it was supposed too. Thought it was a good Kmart day. But, still no $20 from the cat litter and the syw site said it awarded like 2000 points for the purchase. Now the website still has the 100% promotion, but none of the points are showing correctly. I don’t know whether to return or wait a few days. Well, I’m not going to town until Thursday, so if it’s not fixed by then I will probably return.

Both HSN and QVC sell Tracfone models with 16G of internal memory. If you prefer to stay with a Tracfone, rather than BYOP then here are two choices. I’m not tied to a tracfone phone, I just want one that works on the verizon network. I saw the J7 is on sale at HSN but everyone seems to be talking about the moto E4 cheapie from Walmart, but I see conflicting reports on if those will work or not. It’s too confusing for me. I have not had luck with moto’s in the past on pageplus. I can get one at the local store, but don’t think it will work. I also see cheap straight talk phones, I thought you could activate those on tracphone too, but now I’m not so sure.
