I looked at my American Express card, (I think its the Blue one) with all the offers. I didn’t see any Google offers. I had a chat with them online. They said there was no offer of GoogleExpress on my card.

I had it on some cards and not others (even different members on the same card account).
Seemed to be pretty random.
If you have additional cardholders, I recommend setting up separate accounts for them .

Reminder this offer expires in 7 more days. I just placed my order today and it will arrive on Wednesday. Not bad getting a third off.
-
Going to check my card also.
Thanks for the heads up.

I placed my order a week before the offer expired, but as of today the offer is expired and I still haven’t been charged by Google Express. Will I still get the $20 Am Ex credit once Google Express charges me or am I screwed?

The first time they offered this, I placed an order at Target. It took a month before the charge appeared. I chatted with Amex several times, they just told me to wait until the charge appears, then they will credit. It worked out, but spent several hours on this deal. I had what I ordered, they just take their sweet time charging the card, then it pops up as they charged the card weeks earlier, weird.

@briarycliffs Me too… Target takes forever to charge for some reason, I chatted with google and they said it takes 7-10 days after the order is delivered.
I placed another order last night (from several merchants) and we’ll see if the charges make it through properly.
The target charge finally posted, but was about a week backdated, which is really weird, since that statement already closed, so it’s on the next months statement.

My charge (backdates as yours) also finally posted two days ago, but to date I still have not received the Am Ex $20 credit. I will give it another day or two and if I still don’t see it I will have to fight for it and call Am Ex. customer service. Did you get your $20 credit yet? Was it automatic or did you have to call in?

My $20 credit just posted today, but interestingly the credit had the date 4/30. I got the credit. That’s the important thing.

It usually takes a few days for the credit to post - and sometimes you can see it under the Offers - Savings tab before it posts to your recent activity.
