Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I don’t understand how a store in a mall can survive only selling stuffed bears. How many does a kid need, how many would a parent want to buy and how much room does one have for bears?

Getting back to the offer, I don’t blame parents getting upset because Build a Bear didn’t have the capacity for this. If they can’t deliver cheap bears soon, maybe some rioting and overturning police cars will force them. If there are still no results it’s time for class action lawsuits and burning down some stores.

I wonder about all the commotion. Even if the beers were free, it’s not like customers were saving huge amounts of money.

During the promotion, were there any enterprising parents with infants to lease them out to parents with older kids? A whole day of renting the same infant out to the next person in line could have paid for their college education.
