OK. I’ll probably give them the dead pen that has been sitting in my car. This is a weird promo.

Does it mean I can recycle some Tech item and get $10 in rewards (before the June deadline, AND recycle an alkaline battery for a separate $5 rewards in the same month??
Yes, but I have not seen the item number for the battery category yet. If they use 690307, you won’t.
@mmyk said in Staples $10 Tech Recycling In Store Only 4/16 - 6/3:
Does that mean if I recycle the battery first and they use 690307, then I’ll get $10 like a Tech item.
Yes
@george2001 said in Staples $10 Tech Recycling In Store Only 4/16 - 6/3:
If I recycle 21 ink cartridges would 20 of them get $2/ea, and one of them get $5?
They have to be entered as 2 separate line items, with the correct codes. I would recommend using something else for the $5 reward.
$10 reward is up, not $15.
@george2001 said in Staples $10 Tech Recycling In Store Only 4/16 - 6/17:
Same here too. Maybe I’ll call in the morning and ask.
Ask about? The FAQ says $10 is the max.
Are the Violife items actually free for you? They aren’t for me, unless they go on sale before the offers are gone.
@mmyk said in Staples $10 Tech Recycling In Store Only 4/16 - 6/17:
if I bring in 2 batteries, do I get 2x $5 or 1x ?
1x
In this case, these are 2 separate offers. When I added the Target offer this morning, both offers had <24 hours left. The Walmart offer is already gone from my account.

When breasts and wings go on sale thighs are included in the sale but the coupons won’t work on those items.
The coupons work with items on sale.
My List is what matters. A clipped/activated coupon cannot be deactivated, even if you remove it from My List.
There have been glitches where a used coupon still appears on My List, but it’s no longer active. In that case, you may want to clean up by removing it.

Thanks. Bought from Target and price matched to Office Depot at $3.39.
The expiration date is also 2032.
The TWO ct pack was $3.39?? sounds like the 1 count price.

What I am trying to figure out is how to ensure that the right rewards get used in the right way. I have a $20 reward and I don’t want it to be used up until I use the $15 Household reward, for example.
Shouldn’t be an issue unless you have >=$20 in Household items. Buying $10 in produce used up my $10 produce coupon instead of the $10 anything coupon.
@my4mainecoons said in Albertson's/Safeway Flavor Adventure instant win (smartphone app, possibly website too):
will multiple coupons work on just one item?
Yes. Very few coupons have that behavior, and the floral coupon is one of them.
Earning 10c off per gallon is exactly the same as earning 1 reward. There is absolutely no difference. After earning those rewards, you’re free to use them for gas and/or grocery coupons.

This promo started a week ago.

That was not wise IMO. You forfeited 3 months of the higher interest,
3 months of low interest already passed for me – Oct/Nov/Dec of 2023. For <5 years, the holding period is always (6 months * N) + 3 months.
Keep in mind: Not valid on purchases made on Amazon.com or Walmart.com.
Staples Rewards is now “Easy Rewards”.
Just recycled a tech item, and the 1000 points were credited in 5 minutes.
As pointed out by someone on SD, https://www.staples.com/stores/recycling now says that the tech recycling program expires on 3/30/24. Not sure if the whole program expires on that date, or just the next one (March) which has not started yet.
The current 1000-point ($5) recycling offer expires this Saturday 4/20.
Next week will have a 2000-point ($10) recycling offer expiring on 4/27.
I think these are separate offers, so you can do it once per offer, but don’t know for sure.
Got mine after 4 weeks.

@mrvietnam That offer might not have a limit.
I think all there offers are limit 1. I have never see any offer with any other limit.
“May be used unlimited times per Staples Easy Rewards member within the promotional period”
I redeemed the last offer and still got this offer.
Same here. I submitted my first purchase Tuesday (6/25) evening. When I checked Wednesday (6/26) evening, the bonus was gone.
I emailed support and received the reminder text a few hours later.
Thanks. Got it from Safeway, on sale for $3.99 - 30% “manager special” because it expires in 3 days.

You can cancel the renewal any time after the 15-day refund period.

If I take a 30 day free trial do you think I can sign up for the $49 deal on 12/9?
The free trial does not give you the $5 coupon.
PayPal is not an option, so I signed up for Venmo. Then I got this message when I filed for the rebate:
“We could not process your rebate due to a violation of our terms of service.”
Update: Got the rebate after manual review.

$2 CB thru TCB. Wasn’t it $12 last year?
It is now.
I was going to Staples this weekend for this, until I read this review:
https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/the-best-toilet-paper/
“If you want a super-soft toilet paper and don’t mind a little butt dandruff: Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare (our previous top pick) and the brand’s Ultra GentleCare (an aloe-infused cult favorite) are the softest toilet papers we’ve tested. However, they are also the dustiest and lintiest of all the papers we’ve tested, shedding tiny little lint bits and other residue everywhere the toilet paper touches, from bathroom cabinets to human bottoms. These are still super-comfy, super-cushy, and super-sturdy choices if you’re okay with tp residue.”
Low lint is the primary reason I switched to Charmin Ultra Strong, since I use it not just as “toilet paper”. Otherwise, I’m fine with Costco Kirkland.
“We’ll continue offering cash back on eggs every Friday in February, so check back each week.”
It does not mean $2.50 offer for every Friday.
I just went to Trader Joes’s, and they only had half dozens left, so I bought one for $3.49 and got $2.50 back.
I had no issue with my Costco receipt, $7.99 for a bag of apples. I did include a picture of the UPC barcode. Received my rebate within 2 days.
Just cashed out my $10.
The Albertsons eGCs are difficult to use, even with the regular cashiers. I bought one from Amazon a few months ago, and fortunately my local Safeway let me convert it to a physical GC.
I bought that eGC from Amazon because the self-checkout system now supports it. First transaction worked fine. Second transaction required several attempts. Third transaction failed after many attempts. So I went to the cashier, who had to try it several times before the payment went through. It’s the system dealing with eGCs, not the cashier.
In the Walmart store, I use the eGCs through Walmart Pay.
