My eBay purchase transaction was posted to my account, but not the $5 bonus.

The day has come. As a premier member, my rewards coupon no longer works online.

Obviously there are people who think this is a good offer.

I don’t think it was a price mistake, they had it on their website (Visa Rebate card) and according to SD, they’ve run this sale other years.

The offer was a Costco gift card. The instant discount ($70?) was still active online, so when the gift card was sent out, they deducted the instant discount from the value of the gift card. Later, Costco issued a refund for the deducted amount, probably because many people complained.

Nothing is earned beyond the 10 per week. Last week, the transaction in store had to be returned and repurchased. They essentially credited me 20 cartridges. The second 10 cartridges did not earn anything.

The limit is 10 per week. The second set of 10 would be disqualified.

I don’t believe that will fly. that price is a BF ad only price and they won’t PM Black Friday sales before or after at OD.

That’s why I said: “if the $10 price is really for the whole week, not just BF.” We’ll know when the 11/24 ad comes out.

Bounty PT and Charmin TP will be $10 on Black Friday. That’s a price matching opportunity for this week’s and next week’s purchases if the $10 price is really for the whole week, not just BF.

A long time ago, I remember doing the PM through online chat. The updated price was placed in my cart, and I finished the checkout myself. Does anyone know if that process still works?

Response from SD: “I believe the amount is unlimited in store. For online, you can use up to 4 rewards certificates / gift cards on a single transaction.”

For last month’s Duracell purchase, the 100% reward became available on 10/27 (purchased on 10/26). Then last month’s recycling reward was issued earlier this week (11/5?). When I clicked “Get My Rewards” yesterday, I saw a single reward certificate.

Are the rewards automatically merged for the month?

Does it matter if I click “Get My Rewards” after each one or not? If each retrieval would stop the merging, then I would not want to touch that button until I’m ready to use the rewards. My goal is to minimize the number of reward certificates, if I have any control over it.

Would online order for in-store pickup work, since that order still has to go through the cash register?

Non-Plus members can use recycling rewards online again. The fine print for the rewards issued a few days ago was already updated to remove that restriction.

If you can wait, the best deal I have gotten was a online-only deal from Costco on New Year’s (Eve? or Day?).

I got that deal for a relative, but that was a price mistake which Costco honored later.

If you make a “real” purchase, there is a high probability to get something. If it doesn’t work, you can return the item.
Otherwise, you’re guaranteed to get nothing.

So it looks like the same MM opportunity. I would be careful about buying Mastercards I have heard they have issues (fraud, etc.). I like Am Ex gift cards. I wonder why they rarely have them as part of the $10 off sales?

The issue in that link looks like a processing issue, not fraud. The previous MC fraud problem should be associated with U.S. Bank. The current ones are issued by Metabank, just like the Visa.

For tax payment, my recent experience was that only Official Payments recognized the MC as debit card, not the two other processors.

No, not IMO, same but the activation fee is higher on the variable load so less of a MM.

Same fee. I buy the $500 to pay for federal estimated tax, which is limited to 6 credit/debit payments per quarter.

I just upgraded my Blue Cash Everyday Card to Blue Cash Preferred yesterday. The Preferred card has a $95 annual fee, so I need to charge $3,167 to pay off the annual fee of $95 ($3,167 x 3% = $95). Just this week I will be 63% there after charging $2K. Anything after $3,167 will be pure profit.

Did you get any upgrade bonus? It was as high as $250 a few months ago.

Welcome bonus: once (or something like every 7 years). Upgrade: No limit, as long as it’s offered to your card.

I don’t know if the BCP welcome bonus would work because you already have/had a BCP card, even though that was obtained through the BCE upgrade.

An offer like this usually lasts 2 weeks, but the coupon is loadable only during the first week.

Are you saying that you might have forgotten to tell the cashier to charge only $40 for the first card?
