@barrytuneup said in Staples.com $25 off $100 using Visa Checkout at payment screen:
when I tried last year (it’s the Staples card you get in the mail when buying the 200.00 Visa gift cards) I buy tons of these when they have those deals with the 5% Ink and Amex cards. They still don’t work.
I have used multiple Staples GCs and Staples rebate Visas at staples.com. Have you checked if those cards still have balance? Many of those cards were stolen before they required activation.

@turtlebug If I have an existing 11 month no penalty CD with Ally (at 1.50%) will it automatically be upped to 1.75? (The high yield 12 month CD is at 2.0, the no penalty 11 month is now at 1.75)
And can I end that 1.75% CD and put it everything (including interest earned) into the 2.0 percent high yield CD?
Nothing is automatic. You have to close the account and open a new one.
Give it a rest. What do you think would have happened if the Staples-Office Depot merger went through?
Chrome works fine, but not IE11. This problem started a few days ago.
https://phatwalletforums.com/ (which goes to Hot Deals) works, and topics there work fine.
https://phatwalletforums.com/categories works, but anything I click over there would not work (spinning circle).
The LG X Charge has a $150 rebate until 1/25. $180 + tax - $150.
Plenti is the ONLY reason I go to Rite Aid. I started with a bonus offer transferring from Amex Reward points. Otherwise, most of the items I buy are cheaper elsewhere.

Your free trial is only good for a week? I thought it’s always 30 days.
Free delivery for $15 order is back for many stores.
Google Home mini is on sale for $34, or $25.50 after 25% off.
@mrvietnam I expect it to be $10 after store coupons. Manufacturers’ coupons shouldn’t matter.
Activation fee for $100 Visa is $5.95. The other two are breakeven and money loser.
The $10 credit is active. It does NOT work with purchasing of gift cards.

For the 32GB version, yes.
You only have to redeem 1 point ($0.01) to get the discount.
$19.99 is for the 16GB version, which is out of stock.

@mistercheap said in STAPLES REWARDS: No Longer Expire (YMMV -see post):
@c3 sounds like they dropped you out of premier status.
My rewards account still says premier. I have the Staples More card, but I don’t know if that was ever properly linked to my rewards account.
After giving me credit for only 10 cartridges when I turned in 20 cartridges as a Premier member, and the delay in issuing the August rewards, I have less and less confidence in the Staples Rewards program.
@my4mainecoons said in STAPLES REWARDS: No Longer Expire (YMMV -see post):
why did they drop you mid-year? You should have earned Premier for the year.
The Premier upgrade is no longer based on the calendar year. This was changed a while ago.
Safeway currently has $50/$100 Visa and MasterCard discount offers for small MM, which can be used for this Amex Offer.
Rewards for October are available. I need to figure out what to do with $120 worth of rewards from the past 3 months.
Next week has $200 Visa without activation fee.
The coupon works with items on sale.
1/1/19 & Online Only. Buy 4 Michelin Tires, get 25% back* (on pretax price of 4 tires) when you pay with your Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi. No submission necessary. *Via Costco Cash Card, mailed within 4-6 weeks after tire installation.
This is in addition to the normal/automatic $70 discount for buying 4 tires. For my order, the total discount is $70 + $128 = $198.
I forgot about this thread here. This year’s offer became available on 12/18/2018.

Make sure you keep track of which eGC you use for the $2.88. It keeps working. Re-sets to $5.
Are you saying that after using it for $2.88, it resets to $5 for the next time? But if you use it for $5, then that eGC is done?
Thanks for the heads-up. I actually use conventional 5w-30 oil, not synthetic, for my 2008 Prius. With these deals, I guess there is no reason to stay with conventional.

My favorite seller on ebay for bulk cartridges for recycling doesn’t have any large amounts (120 to 150 or so) for sale right now, and I couldn’t find any others at a reasonable price. Suggestions?
I see 300 for $28, which is the same as my last purchase.
Something else has to be different, not just the email address. It didn’t work for me when I changed just the email address.

I also had about $4.80 or so in regular rewards that was carried over for several months and they issued me a $4 rewards for that,
That’s odd. The minimum should be $5.
This was in my account, which I activated a few days ago. Now it’s no longer listed in the active offers.
I turned in my ink cartridges and had my Rewards card scanned. The cashier forgot to add the $200 Visa, so that was purchased in a separate transaction. The cashier did not bother to scan my Rewards card, saying that I would not get any reward for the Visa anyway. I just checked my Staples Rewards account, and both transactions are there, even though my Rewards account number is NOT on the Visa receipt. I have never seen that before.
BTW, there is an Amex Offer for $25 off $100 at Staples. Primarily for business cards, but I got it on my Blue Cash Preferred.
@daytrader said in Staples ink rewards redeemable in-store only starting 7/11/19:
not sure if Staples is trying to drive business away.
Drive business to the store, and get people to pay for the Plus membership.
So this is proof the $100 minimum logic is not built into the kiosk/store order.
That $100 minimum has not been implemented anywhere, but they can do that at anytime.

“Coupon couldn’t be redeemed:The entered coupon doesn’t exist. Please double-check or reenter to make sure the coupon code is typed correctly.”Anyone have luck using them on a kiosk order? These changes are a BIG devaluation for me.
I think only new rewards issued after you joined Staples Plus can be used online. No problem with kiosk order if you pay in the store.

It was an online transaction, and the $40 reward was applied before the coupon. I don’t know if the order makes any difference for online transaction.
