I just opened a new Cash Management Account with them…I was just curious…i last had an account with them about 5 years ago and remember that with their debit card you could make a withdrawal but not a balance inquiry at an atm…

It will be awhile before i receive the card to test it but in the mean time…is there anyone her with a Fidelity Investments debit card who can test it for me at an atm and let me know? Thanks…

According to the chat guy i spoke to at Fidelity he said you can…but you can’t always go by what a rep says… LOL

Also: Are they 1 day on external ach transfers? (in and out)…

@craig10x Thanks goldsheet…I got on Chat at 11 PM last night and got someone around 11:30 PM…she ordered the checks for me…you are correct…they are not automatically ordered…

@goldsheet Glad you mentioned that…i was having the same problem…once i switched to the correct one, was able to log right in…

I was wondering…for the free set of checks do you have to request them or are they ordered automatically?

The email said the debit card was ordered but no mention of the checks…

@goldsheet Thanks for confirming…the Astra transfers i did to SoFi showed in the exact same way…so SoFi must have caught it and it will no longer work…

@goldsheet Very good…let me know…i have a friend who has SoFi but doesn’t have a direct deposit to move there and he was curious to know if it is consistent…

Thanks…sounds like without an interruption (ex: holiday, weekends) then it is 3 days from when you set it up…not too bad…

And i see it does say Direct Deposit…Did it work for you this month (June) as well?

@goldsheet I am actually transferring my social security dd to SoFi but meanwhile i did set up the Astra app on my phone like you… to try it for this month…

Two questions for you: From the day you initiate the transfer from another bank to SoFi…how many days to get there?

When it posts at SoFi what does it say? Does it post as Direct Deposit?

@goldsheet Thanks…and yes that is true…there a number of accounts already that have 1.25% apy without any hoops at all to get it…

@goldsheet Thanks for that link…i found them on the google playstore but based on the many reviews they don’t sound like a very reliable service…i would hate to depend on them for a monthly direct deposit to keep the SoFi 1.25% apy going… thanks anyway…
