Yea. They lure you in with decent offers, then jack up the price after a year and cancelling is a hours long conversation.

Just be careful with those charged lemonades, apparently several people were unalived recently after drinking them.

https://www.aol.com/news/2-men-convicted-stealing-2-112602757.html?soc_src=social-sh&
A bit ridiculous for the judge to go by sticker prices - if the items were on sale, that’s the cost of the items, the judge should be disbarred. Whether or not to allow coupons into the calculation could be up to the judge, but the store can say each item is $1M and on sale for $59.99, is the judge going to use the $1M as the price?
I’m betting a competent lawyer will take this to appeal and win.

I’ve been hoarding my points. Ever since I missed the decent redemption rates last year. Is there anything decent to redeem to? Amazon/staples etc?
Depends where you shop, the Albertson’s GC’s are good at ACME in NJ/PA. Amazon is the worst thing to redeem for, sky high points. Staples isn’t too bad. but not even money exchange. Most have a 5-10% points premium (ie 52.5K for $50 or 28K for $25).
I have enough trouble hitting the spend minimums on my sears card for grocery every month, don’t really need any grocery GCs.

It is one account per household. Hopefully P&G isn’t as anal as ActivateRewards about it, but I assume @MISTERCHEAP already maxed out all his submissions with RA deals.
There is also the Clean Fall Rebate

I believe a single receipt can only go to one of these.
@my4mainecoons said in Chase Ink Business card get $900 when you spend $6000:
@dangeruss Do you get something if I use your link?
Yes, I probably will get $50 or something. If you have a CB deal you can use that instead, otherwise shouldn’t make a difference on your end, the bonus is the same.
@my4mainecoons said in Chase Ink Business card get $900 when you spend $6000:
@dangeruss Thanks, I’ll give it a try. It’s not as good as the one I have but I’d get it for the bonus then close it. Business Cash gives 5% on office supplies, phone & internet; 2% on gas and restaurants. Unlimited gives 1.5% regardless of category. I max out the 5% buying gc at Staples.
From my link you can pick the Business Unlimited or Business Cash. Same CB offer, and you can max out the 2nd card at staples. As mentioned you can have multiples of the same kind of card.
Use 92182 for 50% back in rewards and 61176 for 10% off
I have the MFC-2700DW myself and I love it. It takes generic toner with no problems and I can scan to my PC or my Mac.
If you don’t need the scanner function, you can get this refurb one for $85.48 and $42.74 back in rewards.

Coupon code 91191
The rewards will be on the OOP amount only, any other coupon/reward use will decrease the 50% back that you receive.’
@my4mainecoons said in Chase Ink Business card get $900 when you spend $6000:
@dangeruss I have a Chase Ink Business Cash card. It’s a business not a personal card. I’ve had it for ~20 years.
As long as you can do the minimum spend of $6k in 90 days, nothing should be stopping you from getting another one. YMMV on getting approved of course, but there is no limit of just having one card.
@my4mainecoons said in Chase Ink Business card get $900 when you spend $6000:
@dangeruss I have a Chase Ink Unlimited. How do you have more than one of the exact same card?
Is it business unlimited? I’m not familiar with the personal one, but at least for business you just go an apply for a new card.
@my4mainecoons said in Chase Ink Business card get $900 when you spend $6000:
When you say you’ve gotten several of these over the years do you mean that you’ve gotten several Chase Ink? I really like my Chase Ink. I wish I could do this deal.
Yea I have like 6 chase ink business/unlimited. I think before the terms said you could do this every 12 months, I don’t see that in the current terms.
Why can’t you do this deal?
This offer is usually $750, so this is pretty good deal, basically 15% back on your first $6k in spend (need to do the spend within 90 days), plus the additional 1.5% CB on any purchases with Chase Ink Business Unlimited card or 5% CB in select categories with the Chase Ink Business Cash card (you should be able to buy gift cards including VISA cards at staples and get 5% back).
You don’t need to have a registered business to get this card, as you could be doing business under your own name. There will be a credit check, but these cards don’t count towards Chase 5/24 rule.
I have gotten several of these cards over the years and this is by far my favorite card with a signup bonus.

@dangeruss said in Staples APP Users $30 off $100 coupon valid in store to 12/9:
@mistercheap I usually don’t love these offers because you need the full $100 OOP, can’t use coupons/rewards to lower your spend under $100.
Although I guess you can do PM to get your cost to $110 or so and then the $10 off $30 to get it down to $100.
If you present the $30/100 first, rewards won’t come off after? if you give the rewards first, it drops your total below $100.
I’ve used $20 rewards certs in conjunction with the $10/30 many times, never been an issue. I give the $10 off $30 first, then the $20 rewards cert.
The $100 has to be OOP spend or you won’t get the $30 reward for later, IIRC.
Another thing that works weird with rewards is the % off coupons. They used to come off first, and now they come off after all coupons and rewards (when done in store). The 10% off online coupon works correctly.

$2.50 back at Rakuten, so if you sign up for the monthly deal and you get the CB, that’s like 1 free month.

If you’re going to do the monthly deal you can get the add free plan for $7.99 for 3 months to get the amex credit (paying a net of $2 a month) and then switch to regular plan. You can also sign up for yearly ad-free plan for $79.99 after the promo code and get $20 back from amex (and maybe another $5.99 back?)

@dangeruss said in BJ's Renew for $20 and get a $20 Reward, Expires: 12/31/23.:
@marvomatic whats there to miss? I have a bunch of BJs next to me, and I have a BJs, Sam’s club and a costco membership and I shop mostly costco. Prices are better, you don’t have to coupon clip, and they don’t look at you like a criminal whenever you try to return something.
I will do the free renewal thought, thanks.
I only have a BJs and Sam’s near me and much prefer BJ’s. My Sam’s is an older dumpy one, no gas station even. Overall I like the selection and even prices better at BJ’s. I’ve never had an issue with c/s there on returns or other issues. Maybe you just look shady @dangeRuss ?
Doesn’t matter how I look, the only times I had issues returning stuff at Costco (and I return stuff a lot), is when a. I try to return berries with less than half remaining, but even then it has to be like obvious, and b. If I try to return food that’s expired. At BJs, I swear it’s like pulling teeth, and I feel like there’s only one or two people working, while most of the time at Costco they got 5 people (although some percentage is going to be doing memberships, but they never let a line build up)
One time I waited over an hour to check out at Sam’s club, because I wanted to use a gift card. Only to later find out I could’ve used it the whole time using the mobile app. The only thing I miss from Sam’s club is the fresh squeezed OJ, and maybe the lens wipes.
@marvomatic said in BJ's Renew for $20 and get a $20 Reward, Expires: 12/31/23.:
I used to use the BJ Coupons twice, at a self service kiosk. That was five years ago. I wonder if the machines catch it now?
If you can find multiple copies, you can usually use multiples. It still requires peeling (or clipping digital coupons). Much easier to just put the item in your cart and not worry about any of that stuff at Costco. Although sometimes there are quantities limits, most of the time you van buy as much as you want for the sale price. They also have the generic Sudafed for like $1.
They don’t take manufacturers coupons at Costco, which can be annoying, but I find that if I’m shopping sale prices they can be hard to beat unless you’re on this websites, and probably requires extra time/gas investment.
I did some apples to apples comparison on some tires and was surprised that BJs is actually more expensive when it comes to the original price. I would’ve expected those prices to be roughly the same barring any promos.
