To answer my own question, in case anyone else is wondering: It looks like you can still order from a store parking lot, in case you don’t want to go in (or as in my case one time, if the store is closed - especially with shorter hours now). I was at a store yesterday and did a test before I went in. The app showed that I was at a store and offered me free shipping, although I didn’t complete the purchase.

To be honest with you, I don’t know How Hulu defines a new customer. You might try on an account you haven’t used for some time. It may very well work and you will have nothing to lose for trying.

Since this was my first year, I’m going to have to make a new account anyway in November. Last BF I activated the deal on my old Hulu account from when everything was free, and I’d never had a paid plan there. So you’re right, it’s worth a try after another year to at least attempt to reactivate my current account. Nothing to lose, as you said. Thanks!

Also, during the Black Friday weekend, Hulu has some great deals on their standard service. Two years ago I got Hulu for 99 cents a month for a year. I also have a Fire Recast for antenna DVR, which I’ve been happy with after the initial adjustment, ever since Microsoft killed Windows Media Center last year, which I’d been running for a very long time before then. Plus Amazon Prime. Between all those I have way more things to watch than I have time.

I have a terrible internet connection - no FIOS available in my area - so any suggestions of good internet at a reasonable price would be helpful.

I have the Kellogg’s email if it will help you. It’s personalized (has my name in it) but if there’s a way to get it to you I could do that.

Regarding the memory card option for transferring, I don’t know what Fire device you have, but my 3 year old Fire 10 only has 32GB internal memory, so if you have something similar there couldn’t be more than that to transfer at one time. If you want to keep moving things off onto the card to free up internal space on the Fire without transferring to a computer, then a larger card would help with that.

You really should be able to transfer directly to your computer without having to buy a card, although as mentioned the cards are handy. I just took the usb cable from my cellphone charger to test it, and plugged my Fire 10 into my computer. It loaded and then the Fire appeared in with my drives in Explorer (Windows 10). I double-clicked on the Fire icon and then it showed me the internal drive and my external microSD card. I could see the contents of the internal drive when I clicked that.
Also, my Fire 10 came with its own charger/usb cable, so you may have that around as well.

I’ve never done these - for this one, in my state you can’t buy liquor at grocery stores, but we’re not on the list of NBPR. It sounds from the text that you have to buy the smirnoff and groceries in one transaction, though. Any guidance on how this works?

Not related to your question really but: My understanding is that if you are maxing out your 401k early, then you were possibly missing out on some of the employer match. At least in my workplace, they only match when you are contributing, so it’s recommended to space it out through the entire year (unless there are other factors that would affect it, like you were not planning on working the entire year).
Since they are no longer going to be matching, I guess it’s not as relevant, and as long as you get the maximum match before they stop, that’s all you can do.

Mine was $10 off $10 too. Surprise for me, but I was happy - I don’t need anything big right now so it was better for me than 40% would have been.

The Pandora offer is listed on both my account in the app (non-primary) and when logged into a browser in the primary account - which used the Pandora offer last year, for what that’s worth. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what actually happens on Tuesday.

@collector5 I won the popcorn and movie last year (no luck so far this year, though). They sent out a coupon for a free box of popcorn and a Redbox code for a free movie in the mail.

PSA: I didn’t see this posted here - it looks like the points that were converted to the new system last year are expiring on 1/31/19, so check your account. I was only able to find the expiration date in the app, not on the website.

The birthday coupons are still around - I got one a few months ago as usual. But I saw yesterday in the updated terms that they made a change there and maybe also to the regular reward expiration:
Birthday Free beverage Reward Coupons expire 7 days from the time they are issued. Other Free beverage coupons expires 30 days after date of issuance.

It was nice that we were able to use them when it was convenient. But even with this change the birthday reward is better than at Starbucks. There I believe they only give you one day to use it.

The MLB deal was actually one per line. This is the first deal I can remember that is only on the primary account-holder’s line.
Brandon was right that you have 6 days to redeem the code, but you have to click the link to save the deal by by August 29, 2018 at 4:59 a.m. ET (basically tonight until 5am ET). You don’t need the app, you will see the same deals if you log in on the website (t-mobiletuesdays.com).

Up until now you could still load offers to multiple cards even if you didn’t have separate accounts set up, if you had tabs open to the offers on the different cards. That method didn’t work for me today either.
I’ve read elsewhere that people think it’s the new offers that are different, and @mrvietnam’s T&C description supports that.
I might need to set up separate accounts now, if it looks like they will allow it from the offers point of view.

@barrytuneup I think a lot depends on area. I’m in MD, and all the Shells I pass by are significantly higher than others around them. Near where I work, right now the Shell is $2.79 and about a block down the street it’s $2.65. And I don’t understand who ever goes to the Shell near where I live. Right now it’s $3.09. The slightly further alternatives are $2.89. Prices by GasBuddy.

I tried to go to Shell recently on a Thursday (5 cent discount) with my T-Mobile 25 cent credit, mainly to try and use up my Shell gift card I’ve had for years. Unfortunately the rewards didn’t work, so I gave up and went down the street. Paid about 10 cents more than with all the discounts.

New request for the topic subscription emails. The text of the post is displayed in the email without any line breaks, and it makes it very hard to read when the whole thing is run together. Can the line breaks in the post come through in the emails?

Yes, the movie I rented yesterday with the ROGO code would have been $1.75.

To add to that, the ROGO code sent by text today is not a “true ROGO” and therefore can be used for a single DVD movie for free.

What do you mean? As in they didn’t know you were using the website, or were they giving people trouble for using the website?

You MUST have the app on your phone OR log in to your account at tmobiletuesdays.com on your phone’s browser for store based giveaways. They have you click the ‘redeem’ button at the store and and you have like 60 seconds for them to verify it on your phone/app.

You just don’t walk in and say give me an umbrella, it is explained on the item at TMTues.

Actually, this week is the first time I’ve been asked to use the app (or website). Every other time I walked in and asked for two of whatever they were giving out and they just gave it to me, and this was not always at the same store. Only one time previously did they even start to ask me to show the app, and that time they said never mind and just gave me the stuff. I’m always prepared to show proof (1 app, 1 via website) since yes, those are the official terms, but definitely YMMV on this.

I’m still using WMC, and happy with it in general. But every time the guide stops updating I start to look into other options. But in general I’m reluctant to switch my setup if it’s working.
I suppose eventually I’ll have to find a replacement when I’m forced to Windows 10.

I appreciate all the ideas. I haven’t done anything yet, but I did find a really old T-Mobile SIM card that includes a month of free activation. I don’t know if they’ll honor it though. Otherwise, Ting sounds like a good option, although I couldn’t tell from the website if they have an extra charge for porting a number like other carriers I’d seen. Tello would also be an option if I can find someone with an old Sprint phone. Thanks for everyone’s input on this.

Thanks for the reply. At least according to the FAQ for Google Voice, they will only port in phone numbers from cell providers, and they specifically mention that you can’t port from landlines or VOIP. If there’s a loophole, I’m interested.

I’ll see if I can look further into porting via T-Mobile. I have a few SIMs lying around as well, from the free/99c days. Those have come in handy more than once.

I am trying to port a phone number to Google Voice, but they will only accept numbers from cellphone carriers. The phone number is currently on a VOIP service.

I’m looking for the cheapest option for temporarily porting the number to a cellphone, so I can get it into Google Voice from there.

I have extra phones from T-Mobile, AT&T Go Phone, Tracfone, and Sprint(?) (thanks to FW) if that helps.

What would be my cheapest option? Thanks for all suggestions.

Also, I don’t know if there’s a way to edit posts, but either it’s on that menu or I can’t find it. And the “quote” link isn’t working for me consistently. I tried it on another page and it was fine, but here it doesn’t do anything.

Problem #3, the page loading is still not consistently working. Sometimes it will load, but more often than not I’m still having to refresh the page to get more than a blank screen.

I was going to try for the $4 mouse with my $10 off $20 email coupon, but it rang up as $9 in my store(s). I wound up getting an umbrella plus filler (I tried to find something I actually needed and don’t need more paper products). And then I got another $10 off $20 coupon with my receipt, and also a $30 off $60 online/phone. Also something useless to me like % off personalized products or something.

I actually did find a real issue on my IE11 home computer. The three vertical dot menu on each post doesn’t open on my computer. It looks like it’s trying to create the menu but it’s a small empty rectangle. I can provide a screenshot if necessary. Thanks!

Everything appears to be working on that computer once I disabled AdBlock Plus. When I clicked on the icon at the bottom of the browser, it gave me the option to disable it only on this website. I’m okay with leaving it turned off here. I’ll post here again if I still see any issues.

@my4mainecoons - My guess is that it’s a combination. I have worse problems at work where they block a lot of websites. I’ve had problems there with functionality on other sites, but not as bad as this. The difference for me is that I also have some significant problems on my regular computer. Although now that you mentioned ad blocking software, I realized that I recently turned ad blocking on at home (before FW shut down). I just turned it off on this site and so far everything seems to be working. I still have issues at work, but I don’t think there’s much to be done. So I would say that this isn’t an issue after all. I wasn’t going to post about it in the first place, except that I saw the discussion on the other thread. If anyone else has problems like these, I would suggest turning off any ad blocking programs and see what happens.

Hi, as I mentioned in the Rite Aid 10/29 - 11/4 thread, I am having a number of problems with the site using IE 11 (Windows 7). I actually had to switch to Chrome to post this.
The following are some of the problems I’ve experienced:

• Problems posting. Only Quick Reply works for me. I can’t reply to a post, and the New Topic button doesn’t work either.
• Links within the site don’t work. The page comes up blank and only loads if I hit the Refresh button.
• On my work computer, where some sites are blocked, the entire top bar other than the logo doesn’t show up. I can hover over some things and figure out what’s supposed to be there, but none of the icons are visible. I’m not allowed to install another browser there, so it makes it difficult to do more than casual browsing of the site.

There may be more issues, but that’s all I can think of right now.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
