RE: Hearty Lunch at BURGER KING for $1! Get Bacon Cheeseburger, PLUS a choice of Chbrg/Hambrg or Chx Nuggs, Fries and a drink anytime w/app.

@mistercheap said in Hearty Lunch at BURGER KING for $1! Get Bacon Cheeseburger, PLUS a choice of Chbrg/Hambrg or Chx Nuggs, Fries and a drink anytime w/app.:
Burger King has recently added a Bacon Cheeseburger to its value $1 menu.
This satisfies the $1 spend requirement to order the APP offer of a free Kids Meal with $1+ spend.
I went to test it out yesterday and for $1.06 w/tax, here’s what I got:
Bacon Cheeseburger (VERY GOOD TOO!)
Reg. Hamburger (or you can get a cheeseburger or 4 piece nuggets)
Small Fries
Kids size Diet Coke
Toyall for $1.
The Free Kids Meal offer in the app never seems to go away, so you can likely get this deal a few times a week if you’re looking for a really cheap meal on the go.
The orange juice is a much better deal than the coke (if your store doesn’t upcharge for it. I’ve seen anywhere from $0.20 to $1 extra).
all a matter of taste I suppose. I’m not a big fan of OJ and washing down a burger & fries with it isn’t my idea of ‘tasty’.

RE: Frys Electronics - Going out of business
@my4mainecoons said in Frys Electronics - Going out of business:
I have such fond memories of FAR software. It was Fry’s that introduced me to FW. I was looking for Norton AV on eBay. I saw a bunch of listings where people were selling boxes without the UPC. So I Googled for NAV without UPC and it brought me to a FW listing for NAV FAR at Frys.
yes, got a couple of things there too, mainly software. Deal hunting was fun in those days, so many MM deals that got you large ticket items too, like laptops and various tech items. While we get excited now about a $6mm at Rite Aid, that’s nothing compared to making like $150 on software rebates plus a free laptop to boot!

@mrvietnam wish I’ve waited. I just bought the 8pk paper towels yesterday to satisfy the monthly spending even though I have plenty of them in stock.
@niniss rule of thumb, when it’s early in the month, you get 3 or 4 weeks for a free after rewards offer to come along, and typically one always does. I hope you remembered to use the extra rewards back coupon code on your paper towels so at least you earn a few bucks back. You can always return them and buy the batteries you know.

RE: Just4U Saturday Sampler (ACME) Free Chobani Oat Milk or Creamer, and Free Sig Select Beef Jerky clip by3/7, redeem by 3/8
@kimi said in Just4U Saturday Sampler (ACME) Free Chobani Oat Milk or Creamer, and Free Sig Select Beef Jerky clip by3/7, redeem by 3/8:
Went to Safeway this AM to pick up a few items. I was surprised to see one package of the free jerky because Saturday Sampler items sell out quickly. After I came home I noticed that the ‘best buy’ date is 2/13/20. Oh well, it was free and jerky shouldn’t go bad.
LOL, that explains why it was on the shelf.
No problem at ACME scoring the Beef Jerky (or Turkey) there were 4 kinds. Turkey, Beef, Beef Peppered or Beef Teriyaki. Got the turkey and peppered beef on my accounts.
The Chobani in any form was totally wiped out but think I was more interested in the jerky anyway.

RE: Arbys: Crispy Fish Sandwich $1 with coupon in post (show on phone) ex 3/14
Last few days for this deal.
Went to Arby’s for lunch today to try this and I was quite impressed. The size of the fish portion is very generous, like those big triangle type pieces you get at a real fish n chips place. It was hot, fresh and tasty.
I’d get another on /before 3/14 if I happen to be near Arby’s again.

RE: JUST4U: Select Accounts (across all Albertson's chains) $5 off $5+ single priced item (see list in post) at Starbucks located inside the supermarket
@MrVietnam I think I know why the gift card to pay the difference messed it up.
They are likely tied to both the Albertson’s POS and the Starbucks POS systems. A starbucks GC is processed by Starbucks, not Albertson’s system, so it likely bumps off the digital as it defaults to the Starbucks system which wouldn’t account for a digital loaded on J4U.

RE: Whopper Wednesday 3/17 in BK APP: $1 Single Whopper, $2 Dbl, $3 Triple Whopper
@jokerzwild said in Whopper Wednesday 3/17 in BK APP: $1 Single Whopper, $2 Dbl, $3 Triple Whopper:
Never can get the payment to work in the app. The reviews in the app store are ridiculous about the same problem - you’d think they’d pay attention to this error.
Nevertheless, thanks for the share!
you don’t have to pay thru the app, just chose ‘redeem in restaurant’ on the offer and give the code to the drive thru order taker (or in the store) and pay with cash, cc or gift card. I do it all the time.
My biggest complaint with the BK app is, they have no way to load gift cards for payment and use them. Wendys, Taco Bell, Dunkin, etc all have that ability.

Thanks Mr C. Can you remind me how long are Walgreens Cash Rewards good for?
On the BIC Flex Walgreens cpn … the one in my account says specifically $4 off 1 Flex 5. But the printable cpn.com site has $4 off any Flex.
use the printable is possible, easier to find the types. also Walgreens cash is good for a year, and can be used online and instore. It’s very helpful when you do an online order for instore pick up deals.

KOHLS: Apparent end of 30% off 'Generic' Codes for Kohls cardholders (see post)
will keep in HD for a few days, then move this to deal discuss.
In the past, Kohls typically ran a 30% off code monthly or 2x a month for cardholders (ie HOLIDAY30) such that even if your own personal flyer had 15% off under the sticker, you could still take advantage of the 30% off code online and instore.
Just recently, the code has now changed to a long/non generic code under the sticker on the card that is only intended for that customer (although it can be given to someone else if not using it). It is valid for up to 10 uses instore or online or combo of 10 for the period involved (ie March 25 to Apr 3).
Obviously this is going to impact some Kohls deals, especially during holiday season when the 30% was often stacked with other good codes (like $10 off $50 home goods).
If you do get a 30% off code now you may want to think twice about throwing out the flyer.
It does say ‘non transferable’, can’t speak to how tightly this is enforced or if once you do use it, it is tied to only your account for the next 9 uses versus someone else using it for some of the redemptions.
@KohlsPowrShopper any insights you have on this new change would be helpful .thx.
