Just a general reminder to periodically check when you have points expiring.
ie, I have about 200 points expiring on 10/1 so I am going to try and redeem for a whopper or something before they expire.
Same goes for the Wendy’s app if you collect their points.

8/15. I didn’t notice the expiration date until you mentioned it mister c. It’s in the tiny print underlined terms.

I just contacted Vons customer service and explained the situation about me only getting 400 points per $50 gift card instead of the 500 points per gift card I should have received and the 10x J4U offer I had, and he gladly just verified my purchases and then he credited my account 300 points for the three gift cards I had a shortage from. Now that was easy, as Staples might say.
Yes, I had the same outcome with my 2 gift cards, credited me 200 points.

Yes, that was based around some antics with their credit card which I was very careful never to click on any offers for inside their app. I didn’t sign up for that card and there’s no info on my credit reports. I do get notified of ‘hard pulls’. And I signed up for AVEN in early May '25, after that Class Action was annouced. So I think I’m ok there.
I don’t think I did give plaid permission, but I’ll double check through my bank and have their permissions revoked if they are on there.
Thanks for the heads up on all this, I’ll be sure to protect myself to the greatest degree possible.
@ctujackbauer update: I was able to log in to my bank info and revoke the Plaid to Aven permission from there. I also have PLAID permission for Venmo, but that I’m keeping.
