RE: Regal Cinemas owner Cineworld preparing for bankruptcy (gift card warning)
@ctujackbauer This is a little different, I don’t think GC’s will be in jeopardy unless say, the theaters in your area were to close and you don’t have the ability to use them. They are looking at Chapter 11 in the US which would likely mean a restructuring. I honestly don’t see locaton closing until 2023 at the earliest, so people should have plenty of time to take in a movie or two and eat popcorn.
The Bed Bath situation where it’s an ‘unknown’ is if they liquidate stores, Gift Cards sometimes aren’t honored in liquidation sales. They should be ok online for the forseeable future even if a number of stores close.

Lnk the same card on UPSIDE and stack their >5% back at overlapping restaurants.
This has been around for awhile. This program is similar to neighborhood nosh, who has been giving 5% for years. In fact the list of participating restaurants for rakuten seems almost identical to neighborhood nosh. From my experience these programs know when you are trying to link a card to two rewards programs and will ask you to remove it from the previously linked program.
do you have a link that shows participating restaurants?

I can confirm, the Manager indicated all Kiosk’s will be removed, Quote: “You can still order online in store with a CSR’s assistance.”
I’ve had to do that a few times, wasn’t horrible, but sucks to have to spell out my info for them instead of just logging into the account.
Honestly, it’s still worth it if you can price match Amazon/Costco etc. I’ve been getting bottled water delivered at the costco price and paying with rewards.
The one issue I ran into recently is that the coupons they had in the new app didn’t combine with the rewards the way I expected. If I spent $75, then used a $25 off $75 coupon, then added $40 rewards, the coupon would go away because now I didn’t meet the $25 after rewards. I mean still better than paying full price at Costco, but disappointing that the coupons don’t come off before rewards.
It’s my understaning the ‘unique’ 16 digit one time use codes won’t stack with rewards (also unique 16 digit), however five digit multi use will.

Someone on SD reported that a store’s kiosk has been removed. When I visited Staples last week, I did not see the kiosk where I expected it to be, but I did not ask about it.
I don’t put it past Staples but seems like a dumb move IMO. Used my last ink rewards about a month ago, not spending $50 for ink to keep it going. But if the kiosks really are being removed and no more free shipping from store placed orders, just another reason not to step foot in their stores. It’s amazing, they used to be a deal hunters dream. Monetized so many rewards via their rebates at one time, that ship sailed too quite some time ago.

Current subs excluded, if you PREVIOUSLY had the service or are new to it, you’re ok.
Oh OK, that makes sense I guess… So what does previously mean? LIke if someone has service now, how long after they cancel can they use this?
You’d have to locate the T&C for that answer. Most ‘come back’ offers have a time requirement that you haven’t had the service, could be 30 days, could be a year. Don’t know in this case.

@mistercheap Have you done this before? Usually RA receipts show the regular price then the discounted price. Why would it be any different?
I seem to recall when they ran the 50% off deal last month, my prices on the receipt were the post coupon price and Bonus Cash spend was based on the post coupon price where it was tied to dollar spend (as would be the case with Listerine). I didn’t earn as much bonus cash as I expected, same for spend towards a BCC challenge.

I am pretty sure you can only use one online code per order, so it is either the $15 off $59 code or the 40% off with in-store pick up code. Hope I’m wrong, but I think I’m right about the only one online coupon code per order.
Still $60 worth of stuff for $30 net is not a bad deal, plus even 8% more off if you go through TCB cash back.
If anyone has any deal ideas, do share.
@MrVietnam totally different deals online vs PU in store.
What stacks for online is SHIP TO HOME add $60 to your cart pre tax, use the $15/50 for $45 total, earn the $15/60 BC plus product BC offers that are part of your order.
Different expiration dates between the two deals too. In store pu code is TODAY ONLY. Online shipping code is to Sat.

Should be able to DD with the JnJ BTS rebate.
Maybe, they’re both administered by Fandango so the same receipt processed twice may get rejected the 2nd time. If you’re buying $25, do the JnJ one since you need $27.50 for $10 visa on Listerine only offer. If getting $40, do the Listerine for $15 Visa.
The Listerine one can be multiple receipts.
Last week RA had $10BC wyb $25 JnJ. Could have gotten $25 Listerine, $10 BC, $10 rebate and points towards the $15.
This week or next (can’t recall) there’s BC for Listerine.yeah but the receipts are still going to be the same ones submitted for both rebate offers. that’s the issue. easy to pick up if they track receipt data info for duplicate submissions, not sure if you can double dip or not, you can try, but just a head up in general.
