That’s right you can’t use Amazon gift cards to buy Amazon gift cards, but you can use Amazon gift cards to buy third party gift cards sold and shipped by Amazon. I buy Safeway/Albertsons gift cards paying with Amazon gift cards on a fairly tegular basis. I just wish Amazon sold Kroger gift cards.

So since I made my online $10+ purchase this morning of 100% back in rewards batteries, I can expect my Rewards to increase another $20 soon with this promo.
This promo is for in-store purchase only, same transaction. You won’t get the $20 until next month.
Really? I didn’t know that. Still no biggie. I am able to wait a month. I will update my post title to reflect that. Thanks.

Limited time only!
$2 Back in Rewards per recycled ink cartridge
with $10 qualifying purchase. Get your rewards next day!
In store only. Limit 10.
I have not yet been able to locate the terms of this offer, but it is pretty self-explanatory. I am not sure though if the event lasts for a week or until the end of the month or longer.

@MrVietnam other than the rewards crediting the next day, is this the same monthly program??
Details are sketchy right now as I could not find the terms. I imagine that when you recycle you must recycle each 10 in a separate transaction though. When they post the terms I will post them here also.

just trying to figure out if this is in ADDITION to the monthly recycle? and I take limit 10 to mean limit of carts recycled, not the times you can do this.
I know, but I am not sure. I tend to think it is a special event though and would be in addition to the regular month recycle, but again I am not positive. If it is in addition, you could recycle 10 ink cartridges 11 times this week or month, however long this promo goes.

I know, but I am not sure. I tend to think it is a special event though.
the only real difference I can see is the immediate crediting of rewards the next day rather than waiting for the monthly rewards to drop, say in March in this case.
Not only the speed of receiving the rewards, but the number of times you will get credited for your recycling. 10 extra times is a $200 MM.
I’m not reading it that way, I’m reading it as “limit 10 carts” not limit 10 redemptions.
Why then would they say limited time only then? Are they getting rid of ink recycling?
@MrVietnam no, I think the instant crediting is the limited time aspect.
I tend to agree, but I will still sacrifice 10 extra ink carts just to satisfy my curiosity. If the only benefit of the promo is indeed just getting the next day rewards, that is a pretty lame promo.

The details were available online last week, when the program started. 2/1-4/30, if I remember correctly.
I recycled two days ago for February and I noticed yesterday my Rewards balance increased by $20, but at the time I had yet made my $10+ purchase for the month. So I wonder if the rewards I received for ink recycling yesterday were the rewards from last month posting yesterday or if indeed no $10 purchase is required to get the next day rewards. Anyone have any insights?

No @MrVietnam it’s worth 9c, if $3 Amazon card is 300 points, that would mean a $1 card is 100 points. 10 points would equal a dime, this 9 points is 9c.

RE: Office Depot - 100% back in Rewards on select hand sanitizer items limit TEN! ends 6-19 (free pick up or ship at $45/VIP) + 12% CB at RMN
The Walmart near me was selling their hand sanitizer the other day for a quarter for an 8 oz bottle and Rite Aid sells their 8 oz bottle for $1, or free if you buy one that has a $1 off freshness sticker on it. It seems like the stores overbought and now the demand for it has reduced sharply, so they are trying to clear it out.
This is still a good deal to buy at least $10 worth though to meet the $10 monthly required spend for ink recycling for June with something, anything, then batteries.

I had a LOL moment when I was at the checkout getting this item at Albertsons. The older man who rang me up let me know that what I was buying was a free item today. When he was done with my transaction, he actually closed his checkout down (turned off the overhead light) and went to get his own. I said to him that it was a good idea because there was only one left and he said “exactly” as he scampered to the paper aisle to secure his own.

RE: Rite Aid: non-marked 75% off clearance on non-HE bottles of Tide: 46 oz bottles for $2.49 and 92 oz bottles for $4.37 plus new $2 and $3 coupons in the 7/4 P&G insert (so a 92 oz bottle only $1.37 after coupon) and there is a P&G rebate available
There were some Tide L2C coupons that expired yesterday. $3 off for the bigger bottle and $2 off for the smaller bottle. I went to several stores and was able to find 6 of the 92 oz bottles and 4 of the 46 oz bottles. There are new Tide coupons that came in today’s P&G insert if you get that in your area: $3 off for the bigger bottle and $2 off for the smaller bottle. With these new coupons in would make the 46 oz size bottle only 49 cents after coupon and the 92 oz size bottle only $1.37 after coupon. As a reminder, P&G rebates are always the price you paid AFTER any coupons were used.

RE: FREE ($3 MM) Neutrogena Acne Soap A/C + Ibotta @ Walmart - exp 07/09
I have a question about Ibotta. I bought 3 soaps and a bottle of Bai. I didn’t realize at the time the Bai drink rebate was only for a certain flavor. I already submitted and got the money for the rebate for 2 Neutrogena acne bars. If I return the Bai drink to the store, will that invalidate my Neutrogena rebate or will those rebates stay since I am only returning the Bai drink of which I did not receive any Ibotta rebate?
Thanks for the deal, ctgolfer. It worked smoothly and was a nice MM. I got 3 bars because the third bar I submitted for a $3 coupon on the coupons.com app.
-
RE: FREE ($3 MM) Neutrogena Acne Soap A/C + Ibotta @ Walmart - exp 07/09
Last night Ibotta said only 3 hours left, but this morning it says only 13 hours left. It looks like there is still a chance to get in on this deal this morning if you haven’t done it already. The Ibotta limit is 2. The printable will only let you print once, so you will need a second computer to get two prints to msx out the Ibotta rebate. There is also a $3/1 coupon on the coupons.com app, so I think I will get 3 bars and use 2 pro tables and another coupon from the app. I hope the cashier doesn’t balk at accepting the coupon as it shows pictures of full-size products on the coupon and the value is for more than the selling price of the acne bar soap. I guess I should have another item in my order to absorb the overage? I think the free after $1.99 rebate Bai drink would be good for that.
-
RE: FREE ($3 MM) Neutrogena Acne Soap A/C + Ibotta @ Walmart - exp 07/09
I have heard that they do track returns. I was just afraid that they would see a return on the transaction and invalidate my other rebates, but I guess that wouldn’t happen and even if that did happen I could contact customer service to reinstate the revoked rebates.

I highly doubt Ibotta tracks returns at all. And either way, why would returning Bai invalidate your Neutrogena stuff?
iBotta tracks WM returns. Its linked to the bar code on the receipt which you scan to earn the credit. Returns are processed by WM by scanning that same bar code.
IDK what happens if you just return the Bai. I would think it would be ok.
Did you receive the 25¢ for the “any flavor Bai except Strawberry Kiwi”?WM doesn’t post coupon so once I returned my iBotta purchase w/o receipt then repurchased using the coupon. YMMV as you have to have a willing CSR to process the return w/o the receipt. I’d scanned and received the $ for the first receipt. I just wanted my $3 coupon value back.
No, I didn’t redeem for the 25 cent offer on any flavor except strawberry-kiwi. When I went back to submit my receipt again to get that offer, it wouldn’t let me and said I had submitted the receipt already.

also, Walgreens has the earn $5 in Wags Cash on $20 deal again, the spray is $17.99 on Wags .com, plus buy $2.01 of something else, earn $5 in Wags Cash, plus the cash back on the purchase which I think is 6-8% at CB sites.
or pay with Wags Cash to monetize it.
Using a Wags $5 in Wags Cash on $20 purchase digital coupon with in-store pick up is a good way to make this item more truly free (and even a small MM) by helping take the sting out of the sales tax. Sales tax on $17.99 where I live is $1.66 and like you said, MC, getting cash back to boot is also nice. That is such a good idea I think I will highlight it in my OP title.
can’t believe you’re taxed on meds there Mr. V, outrageous. Toilet paper, paper towels I can see. But pain meds?
We are taxed on everything here, MC. California is the land of high taxes. That is, at least one of the reasons, why so many businesses (and people) are fleeing the state.

When I was really young, a single scoop at Thrifty’s was a nickle. When I got a little older, but still a child, they raised the price of a single scoop to a dime.Even in the late 1980s, it was 10 measly cents for a single cone. Prices have really went up steadily since then. Thrifty ice cream is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had though.

RE: Free Turkey Sub at Subway on July 13 (50 per store) 10am-12 noon only (see post for specifics)
I visited 5 Subways and got lunch for the entire family. Two allowed complete customization and gave a hearty portion of turkey and allowed me to choose as many veggies as I wanted. The other 3 only had a set sandwich with little meat and only 3 toppings (spinach, tomato, and one other) on wheat bread. This is a new sandwich that is why they were giving a sample away for free. I think most people did not even know about this promotion as the Subways I went to there were no long lines.

Question:
Anyone who ordered from Walmart, either Walmart+ or pick up, how long does it take for the IB money to hit the account?
A few items were delivered today, but not seeing anything yet. Rest being delivered tomorrow.
Not sure about Walmart, or Walmart+, but I ordered the Kleenex from Target Online and it took 36 hours for the money to hit the account, even though when I ordered Ibotta said it would take less than 24 or less.
But you picked it up same day, yes? Mine was delivery, so they may not credit until items delivered. Will see if it shows tomorrow, if not, will open a ticket.
Yes, I picked up the same day, but they said it was 24 hours to get credit after picking up, not after ordering. In your case since they are being delivered, zi’m not sure. Might be 24-36 hours either after shipped or delivered.

Rite Aid beta testing order online, pick-up in store service
just got an email from Rite Aid. I have been invited to beta test a new service at Rite Aid: Buy online, pick-up in store.
Took Rite Aid long enough to offer this. Now they just need to allow gift cards to be used to pay online orders.

RE: Rite Aid 8/1-7 $1.50mm ac IRISH SPRING Body Wash or Bar SOAP /IAQ/IP/BC wyb 2, Free (w/gold) Bic Razors IAQ/BC, More Deals TBA
$1.02 MM wyb 2 boxes Playtex tampons a/ man Qs/Ibotta/BC
There is another deal this week. If you buy 2 Playtex tampons, they are BOGO 50% off. The rr for one is 5.99, so the second box would be 2.99 for a total of 6.98. You can print two $1 printables from the Playtex website to bring it down to $4.98. Then you can submit for 2 $3 Ibotta rebates to bring it down to 98 cents. Then you will get back $2 in BC for buying 2 boxes to make it a $1.02 MM. Luckily for me there is no tax in my state for feminine hygiene products, so this really is a true $1.02 MM.
Credit to Ravi Patel for this deal.

@mrvietnam that’s the problem with multiple deals in the title!
These are weekly deal threads, so naturally there will be multiple deals both in the title and in the thread, but I am glad you got your question answered.

RE: Staples Double Ink Recycle Rewards when you buy ink/toner & Recycle on SAME TRANSACTION In Store / April 18 - 24
@sonofzeus said in Staples Double Ink Recycle Rewards when you buy ink/toner & Recycle on SAME TRANSACTION In Store / April 17 - 24:
What do you buy with REWARDS that can be converted to cash?
Good question. Not sure about Staples, but the closest thing I could find at Office Depot is using rewards to buy postage stamps. I don’t think you can use Staples Rewards to buy postage stamps though. I found since everything was so overpriced at Office Depot my best bet to hold the rewards value was to buy forever stamps postage with it, but like I said, that us unfortunately not an option at Staples (unless I’m mistaken). I don’t use stamps much but they come in handy when mailing greeting cards or sending away for rebates that do not allow online submission or for mailing packages at the post office.

No additional $10 off $20 coupon this week. I will recycle another 5 ink carts next Friday.
Based on what 597404 said, it’s one per account. I recycled today and got a coupon.
I thought in the past, several months ago at least, it was reported that people were getting more than one. I will still recycle 5 per week this month just in case. The Staples store is less than a mile away, so really easy to stop by anytime. How can 597404 know for sure? Does he work for Stspled marketing department? It could be more random than that.
