@my4mainecoons said in Rite Aid 10/29 - 11/4 (Free Remfresh a/ pp and man Q):
Word on the street is that Remfresh isn’t giving PP.
Since Remfresh is advertised this week in their ad as giving Plenti points, a simple call or chat to Plenti customer service would give you the points or at least get the ball rolling so eventually you would get the points. I’m not planning to buy Remfresh because even getting it for free and just paying sales tax is a waste of money (to me at least) if it is for something I know I don’t need or want.

If you’re looking to burn points this would be a good week to buy paper towels (Bounty) then submit for the AARP P&G rebate Mr. Cheap posted.
For those who are interested in the P&G rebate and happen to be a member of AARP and get their magazine, here is Mister Cheap’s link about the rebate. Also note that the $50 spend is AFTER coupons are applied. This week there is a get 1000 pts ($10) wyb $30 limit 2 offer on several P&G products, so if you spend $60 worth and did not use manufacturer coupons, you could get $20 back in pp from the Rite Aid offer and $15 from the MIR offer (given you are a member of AARP or at least have access to someone’s AARP magazine). So that would mean you would get $60 of product (plus tax) for just $25.

MrVietnam, i was just wondering if you were continuing with the Rite Aid weekly post. Really missed your weekly posts at FW. I stopped going to Rite Aid after the FW shut down. Without your weekly post, i literally have no clue what to buy at RiteAid. lol
Yes, that is my plan to continue with the Rite Aid weekly posts. The trouble is the deals have all but evaporated over there. Unfortunately it is not like how it was several years ago when there was a whole list of freebies and MMs each week, but I like the idea of having a weekly thread so we can all share what weekly and monthly deals that are there and a place where we can talk things Rite Aid. Some (maybe many) of us have a lot of Plenti points and are looking for ways to either redeem them or roll them. All though Rite Aid’s Black Friday ad has been better in the past it is still full with quite a few deals and some freebies.

RE: Office Depot rolling rewards ? YMMV
@lorenw said in Office Depot rolling rewards ? YMMV:
@trudi said in Office Depot rolling rewards ? YMMV:
I rolled rewards with batteries a couple times, I’m new to OD and didn’t realize it was a special feature of just the batteries though. I tried it with labels a few weeks ago and that did not roll. I wonder why batteries are special.
From what others have said in various message boards, it is the difference between a set $ amount on a rewards, vs 100% back on reward
The batteries say, $15.98 back on rewards, so in theory that is the magic phrase to look for
So having a set dollar amount back in rewards looks like is the phrase that pays.
Do you think if I paid completely in rewards for a set dollar amount back in rewards would I earn the full rewards offered? I was afraid to try it with the order I placed today. I only used about $12 in rewards.
-
RE: Office Depot rolling rewards ? YMMV
I’ve heard that rolling rewards works for battery purchases for some time now. I am not sure exactly t works, but it does. Thanks for the idea of ordering online with the Ebates 3% and the 30$ off a $30 order code. I think I will do the same thing.
The one thing I am not sure about though is if you can pay completely with rewards or if it is important to pay some by credit card in order for the rolling to happen.
Not bad. I got two packs of Duracell batteries for free, rolled some rewards, and made $8 with the 3% and 30% off offer. Thanks OP.

Curious to know if ANYONE got an image to be approved after upload.
Yes, I got my image approved and my code was delivered via e-mail about 10 minutes after I submitted it. Instead of taking a picture of it with my smartphone, I scanned an image of the receipt on my computer and did it that way.
Just on a side note, when it says Crush, it doesn’t have to be just Orange Crush. It can be any in the Crush family of drinks: Pineapple, Strawberry, etc. I had a Pineapple Crush in my order and it was approved with no difficulties. I got 2 liter bottles ($1 each) but you could also get cans if you so desired.

Actually not much of a deal. I was at Kroger’s Food4Less and a family size Cheez-Its were $5.99, so the price would only be dropped to $4 after digital coupon. I guess it is an OK deal if you like Cheez-Its.

RE: AmEx Offer: Spend $99+ On Amazon Prime Membership & Receive 5,000 Membership Rewards
@vegasvegan said in AmEx Offer: Spend $99+ On Amazon Prime Membership & Receive 5,000 Membership Rewards:
@marcopolomle Thanks got the offer. Noticed a little different wording on this one.
You need to buy by 1/31/18 but points wont be dolled out until 3/2/18 (within 90 days).
I’m guessing the month extra is to try and deter people from from cancelling Prime and keeping points.
Even though you can get a refund if you don’t use any prime benefits. Usually says they will be dolled out at the time the offer expires (within 90 days)Now I have to find out if it will work on Gift of Prime. Doesn’t exclude it by name but does say “does not apply to other Amazon memberships or subscriptions including but not limited to monthly Amazon Prime membership, Amazon Fresh, Prime Video or Prime Student”
Even though in the terms it says you won’t get your 5,000 Membership Rewards points until within 90 days of 3/2/18, I just got my 5,000 MR points this morning (I subscribed to Prime 4 days ago).

RE: AmEx Offer: Spend $99+ On Amazon Prime Membership & Receive 5,000 Membership Rewards
@kdn102 You just go to www.amazon.com/pin and it will take you to Amazon Video Settings page and on that page it will give you the option to set a 5 digit PIN. Scroll towards the bottom of the page, Enter a 5 digit PIN, Once you click “Save” the changes go into effect immediately. You also have to click “Yes” on the “PIN on Purchase” option (the default is the “No” setting). I tested it out minutes after I updated with a PIN and Yes on PIN on Purchase and sure enough it asks for the PIN when trying to buy video content. So now I can open video content freely in Amazon Prime and the only time it will ask me for a PIN will be for content requiring additional payment.
By the way, please note this is only for video content purchases. I also have an Amazon Echo and I have turned off voice purchasing already. You have to go to alexa.amazon.com and click on “Settings” and then click on “Voice Purchasing” and you can turn voice purchasing on or off there.
So happy to say my Amazon ecosystem components are childproof.
The free video content on Prine isn’t as extensive as I had hoped, but when you combine this video service with the music service and with two day Prime shipping, $56 for a year is a steal. I also have Hulu, so with both services combined there are a lot of shows to watch, with some overlap of course. Thanks OP.

One thing I noticed about Amazon Prime is many of the videos on their service you have to buy on an episode by episode basis or an entire season basis, so not only do you have to pay once for Prime but once you pay you have to pay again to get some content.
I have Amazon Prime on my Samsung big screen smart TV. Does anyone know if my 5 year old gets a hold of the remote can he just buy episodes at the press of a button or is their some PIN that has to be entered first? I have a large banked Amazon gift card balance on my account but I would rather not use it up by having my son buy shows without my knowledge at the press of a button.
You can set a pin when using Fire Stick or Fire TV, but I don’t know how it will work on your Samsung. I’m assuming you will still have to go a few pages, like 3, to finalize the purchase.
I called up Amazon one more time just to make sure what the first rep told me was correct about not being able to set a PIN for video purchases and sure enough the first rep was wrong. The second rep I called transferred me to the Amazon Video department and there was an easy way to set a 5 digit password onto my account to prevent unauthorized purchases. The rep told me that when he chooses free content that is included with my Amazon Prime membership it won’t ask for a PIN. The PIN will only be required for content that costs additional money. That gives me some peace of mind. Now I can let my son use the remote again.

I am a little unclear. Once logged into the website where do you find the CDP section? Also, what special benefits does the President Circle status provide? Does it last a year and then expire or is it good indefinitely?
I figured it out. You click on “My Account” rom the top right and then you click on “Edit” Personal Details and at the bottom of that section there is a place to enter the CDP code. After I entered the code it said “LH Senator”. I wonder what that means. It still shows me as a Gold Plus member though and no where does it mention I belong to the President Circle.

Great find. I was planning to wait until Black Friday when there is often a $20 discount given for a new Prime membership, but this $50 back in Membership Rewards points deal is much better. A year of two day shipping so I can work down my large Amazon banked gift card credit balance and the Prime video content for my Samsung big screen. Not to mention the free music I can play over my Amazon Echo. Wahoo!
