@MISTERCHEAP received rebate check a few days ago. All I did was upload a scan of the receipt. Nothing else required other than info for a check.

@sarahb I’ve gotten tires online from Discount Tires when there are sales & rebates. Go through a portal for cash back of course. Costco has good prices for tires if you’re a member. Sears if you can get 100% back in points and use the points. I think @briarycliffs did that last year.

@c3 are you hoping they will ignore the first 5 you recycled?

They used to offer double recycling weeks so I’m in the habit of recycling the last week of the month. The risk is what happened last week when I recycled at 8PM on Oct. 31.

Last year I was the only one doing it in closest Petco. Got 2 $22/4 lb bags of cat food twice.
Store had no idea how to deal with the offer so wrote the info on a sticky note.
They did have huge stickers they stuck on the bags indicating they’d been free.
The first visit they were so busy figuring out what to do they just gave me the bags and I left.
The 2nd visit they tried to talk to me about nutrition.

I don’t have a dog but going to try getting a small bag of Nature’s Recipe for free then uploading scan to S* for $3.

@burgerwars Zinc has been shown to decrease cold symptoms and the original Zicam was a throat lozenge for colds. This stuff says its a nasal cleanser. I didn’t see zinc in the ingredient list; its mostly water.

Thanks again. I got the 4 & 4. Most important thing is that I didn’t need a filler since I got an Instant Pot. Ended up with $60 KC and $10 Yes2You and still have 83 Yes2You pts.

The mistake I’ve made most often is forgetting to turn the little plastic thing to “seal”. Would be nice if Alexa did that for me. Otherwise not sure how Alexa helps.

The Belgique soup pot had one rebate 11.18.19 - 11.20.19, a 2nd rebate 11.21.19 - 11.26.19 and a 3rd rebate 11.27.19-11.30.19.

I’ve spent too much time already trying to figure out how to capitalize on this.
They’re giving 5% back at Staples so I thought about a case of paper for $28.99
They’re giving 15% back at Macy’s but I’d have to come up with $25 for FS and there’s no rebate items now.
They’re giving 9% back at JCPenney and there are cheap appliances w/ rebates that would end up being $4.99 after the TCB but IDK about trusting an order to go through there.
They’re giving 12% back at Rite Aid but I’ve already maxed out the Shea Moisture deal so no easy way to get to $35 for FS and not spend any real money.

I reached the point of thinking I was spending waaay too much time on this for $3 and not doing it.

Sounds like spin control on the part of Amazon to counter the bad press about the Whole Foods workers. I’d be surprised if any hospitals or government organizations ordered their supplies from Amazon. I suppose its possible but I’d expect they use wholesalers if not the manufacturers themselves.

Have the prices of ice melt, windshield washer fluid, scrapers, etc. dropped below 50% yet?
They were 50% off the last time I was in the store a few weeks ago and there was a lot of stock since it was a mild winter.
