RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
@lo Didn’t we find out that can’t get GC on 42 pc with auto FnF discount? If you can make the FnF go away should be same price e.g. $24.99/99.99.
I got a few #904250 last night. RR $23.99, sale $6.99 in store. Paid full price. Received $23.99 in pts for $30/$30 and $18.70 on gc. -
RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
I fell victim to the “MrV trap”. I spent $20xx at KM last night. Tonight I went to Sears and put the $20 in pts back on my gc but ended up paying $1.45 oop for one of the tools. Then I bought what I thought would have been my $30 Sears purchase. No bonus points on receipt. sigh. Called CS and while on the phone I realized my mistake. CSR said to call back tomorrow if the points haven’t posted, which I know they won’t.
I got this hex key set. RR $25.99, sale price $10.99 in store. Added $16.60 to my gc for paying full price and eventually will get $25.99 in pts.
I decided that $24 is the “sweet spot” for the KM $25/$25. Spent $24 on another acct and cashed out the pts w/ 4 @ $5.99 tools. No oop so should be able to do the $30/$30 on that acct. w/o needing to call CS.

because you didn’t get an email or because you didn’t get a 40% code? if just the email, you should still be able to use your KC and get % off
no email but its ok… IDK what I’d get if I had a 40%. I have $10 in Just4You (or whatever its called) that expires at the end of the month and no idea what to do with it.

RE: TONIGHT ONLY SAT! up to $8.90 mm on select Clairol Hair at Rite Aid AC's/IBOTTA/OVERAGE/GOLD/Sstar
@ctgolfer LRWC link is a coupons.com affiliate link but its all the same. If you print from LRWC they get a %. Once you print your limit from one you’ve done it for all the coupons.com affiliates whether it be Target, LRWC or your supermarket.
The coupons were also in 12-2 SS insert.
We’ve suggested that Phatwallet should get an affiliate link so we could generate some income for PW when we print coupons but it hasn’t happened.
Years ago when you could print coupons.com q’s in VM we used to print every q each month through a private board’s affiliate link. We all had a LOT of vm’s. Never lacked for ip’s.
Coupons.com eventually cancelled the affiliation because they paid out so much. -

RE: Rite Aid 1/6-1/12/19 $20 Visa card wyb $50 (select), Huggies spend $50, get $30
@mistercheap I suspect its like a multi-product BC offer but instead of spend $50 earn $20 BC its spend $50 earn $20 vgc. I like that better than a $20 RA gc. Suspect there will be a code on a coupon on receipt to be submitted online since the Visa gc in store require activation fee.
If we get q’s then Huggies will be the best deal. Buy $50, earn $5 cat and $20 gc-- similar to when we earned Toys R Us gc last year.
Last night another store manager asked me “what are you going to do when Bonus Cash goes away”. I said “go to CVS”.
You may not recall but weeks (months?) ago I mentioned the possibility of BC going away based on a discussion with a SM.
Last night I was in a different store with different SM. -
RE: Rite Aid 1/6-1/12/19 $20 Visa card wyb $50 (select), Huggies spend $50, get $30
@mistercheap Well we know BC will completely go away in Wags dba RA stores but maybe it will slowly fade. IDK what will happen in RA/RA stores but at some point the ads & offers will be different. Would be nice if nothing changed until 2020.
I don’t keep more than $40 in BC on a card because of the 60 day expiration. You don’t know when next opportunity to cash out will occur and don’t want to be stuck.

RE: SYWR Points Back with Purchase Offers Thread
I managed to cash out all my points. Each acct got a FC coupon valid startiing tomorrow-- values of $7/$7, $5/$10 and $5/$15.
Since I managed to cash everything out I did the $20/$40 just for jollies.
Got 2 Universal sets $6.99/$23.99. Paid full price, 15% off tools automatically came off, total $40.78 paid w/ GC, received back $37.40 gc and $20 in pts which will post on Jan. 7.
I spent $3.38 for $20 in January.
We liked the math so another cat did it on their acct. but I think that’s all we’re doing. -
RE: USPS Postage Rates Going up Jan 27, 2019. Buy Forever Stamps to save 10% Later
@kohlspowrshopper Wow. You must use a lot of stamps.
One of my favorite eBay stamps buys was 100 USPS “forever” pre-stamped #10 envelopes at a discount purchased w/ eBay coupon. So not only was the postage less than full price but got self stick envies in the deal. I’m still working on those. When I finish those I have a roll of 100 but I haven’t bought stamps for a few years-- as mentioned, when the price was 42¢ for Forever Stamps. I have no idea what the current rate is/will be since I pre-bought.

Plus, grab a Kohl’s eGC from GiftCardMall and save an additional 10%! (thru Dec 25)
Note: As long as a Kohl’s Charge Card is saved in Wallet as default method of payment, the 30% Cardholder discount will still apply.
You mean if I add my KC number to my wallet I can pay w/ a Kohls gc and still use the 30% off code? I just dug out my Kohls Card. Last used in Aug. 2007…

RE: Kohl's Cardholders: Stacking Coupons: 30% Off + $10 Off $50 + Free Store Pickup or Free shipping

RE: Kohl's Cardholders: Stacking Coupons: 30% Off + $10 Off $50 + Free Store Pickup or Free shipping
@kohlspowrshopper I was just trying to use up $10 in Yes2You from the small appliances on BF.
There’s nothing I want/need so ended up getting kitchen towels.
The only reason I shop Kohls is for the small appliance deals-- for resale.
If one doesn’t want clothes and has enough kitchen stuff, what do you get? -
RE: Kohl's Cardholders: Stacking Coupons: 30% Off + $10 Off $50 + Free Store Pickup or Free shipping
@briarycliffs I have an unplugged, full size refrigerator storing nothing but boxes of Kcups, mostly $2/box from Staples clearance. They do not resell. I’ve had them in my yard sale at a fraction of supermarket price and no one buys them. Back when Discover was giving us $10 KC each month I got Kcups because there was nothing else I wanted. I still have a lot of those Kcups.
Cats don’t really need anything. A visitor looked around, saw all the cat stuff and commented that it was nice that the cats let me live here.
The reason I like Sears is because it has “consumables” I use: 2-stage fuel, fuel stabilizer, ice melt, motor oil, etc. and tools have resale value. Not to mention how many major appliances I’ve been able to get for “free” with SYWR pts.

@kohlspowrshopper wow. Thanks for the link. I have a roll that I bought on eBay in 2017. It has the numbers at the bottom and now I’m hunting for the other “marker”. I would hope that if they are counterfeit that the USPS scanners would detect them and kick them out. I would not want to be using fake stamps. I like USPS.

@mistercheap said in Staples B&M 1/13-19: Fee Free $200 Visa GC and $15 off $75 in store Q valid to 1/19:
Visa prepaid $200 no fee, limit 1 per transaction (customer) but can go to multiple stores, hit the same store a few times same week.
Great for people trying to earn a spend bonus on new credit cards or 5-10% back on various offers out there.
Store limit is $2K per customer/day.
Its not specific to gc. If you buy e.g. $2K in any merchandise they have to notify LP.
My store is fine w/ selling me $1,800 in 9 back to back transactions but not 10. -

Well, I picked up my dehumidifier and got the $40ish points a few minutes later. Went to Kmart and walked around for an hour and a half trying to spend the $60ish points I had. Finally got a large bag of dog food, hose nozzle, 2 glasses, a plant, mattress cover, and a bag of fritos. Still have $4 to go as the hose nozzle was half the price that was listed.
I am hoping for next Monday’s $25 in points and the monthly $25 (tires) to hit Tuesday. No clue what to buy if I do get them and I am not sure the Sears Hometown will accept the points anymore.
IDK if it helps but some of the things I’ve picked up at KM: bleach, ziploc bags, trash bags, toilet paper, household cleaners, fabric softener sheets, dishwasher rinse agent, diapers for friends (and they reimburse me with cash), Mobil One, starting fluid, Sta-bil, WD40, rope, gas can, night lights, wireless outdoor thermometer, water softener salt, cat litter, bird feeders, suet, plant supports, parchment paper, Food Saver rolls, Rubbermaid Brilliance (bought all that they had), canning supplies, storage totes, lots of Oxo including Pop Top containers, anything that has a TMF MIR-- e.g. Natrol Gummies if you haven’t done that one yet, Contigo travel mugs, bottled water, milk, eggs, clearance groceries, items with CO51 rebates.
Cashed out my only points yesterday. 2019 pts on 2 accts, bought $5.49 RR magnetic pick up tools on sale $4.99. Spent $1.77 on gc to add $20 back on to gc. x 2.

Perhaps, but my MM post on the werther’s was my own discovery, didn’t copy that from anywhere.

I don’t copy & paste, I think about scenarios. I get frustrated when I see things I’ve figured out posted on other sites without giving me any credit. Copied to look like the plagiarizer thought of it themselves.

RE: NongShim Shin Bowl Noodle Soup, Gourmet Spicy, 3.03 Ounce (Pack of 12) $8.48 A/C + FS w/Prime @ Amazon
@ctgolfer Good price. I last purchased this in 2017 and it was $8.36.
Only 12¢ price hike in 2 yrs is pretty good. 27¢/oz
Having said that, I would get the ones in the pouches w/o the bowl.
Box of 20 is currently $17.34, 20.6¢/oz.
Black is often on sale for $16.38/box of 10, 35.7¢/oz. but so worth it.My tree hugging issue is the bowl going into the landfill. If I purchase products w/ disposable bowls I prepare them in my own bowl keeping the packaged one clean and easy to recycle.

I used to get This Old House but that’s no longer an option.
What are you all doing w/ your points? -
RE: Rite Aid: 50c mm on Two Belvita Single Packs w/gold
@mistercheap yes they were part of the 2/$1 sale but they are more expensive than the others when not on sale. They were 95¢ gold, $1.90 for 2, received $1 from CO51 and 75¢ from S* so 15¢ for 2. Did it on 5 cards (CO51 limit is 5). 75¢ for 10 packs. A box has 5 packs in it and usually goes on sale for $2.50-$3 (50¢-60¢/pack).
I picked up 32 boxes when they were a Sr Day deal last year. Would have gotten more but ran out of time/stock. Did I mention we really like Belvita? -
